Yes, it's not your typical cycling autobiography. for a start it's not really an autobiography. It does what it says on the cover - it gives Geraint's view on a load of cycling topics through some fun stories.

Even if you have no idea about the cycling world just reading about the life of a Welsh Olympic champion is very interesting.

The only slight criticism was that it seemed to end abruptly. I'd have quite happily listened for another hour or two.

Drew is my new BFF

I LOVED this book! Why? Because it's honest , hilarious, real, interesting, inspiring and so wise. The best part was having Drew narrate it. I am a mother of 5 in her early 40's but I feel that this book is for everyone, maybe particularly for us girls. I shared it with my 15 year old daughter and she also loved it too. This one is definitely going under the tree to all my girlies so that they can get inspired to love and live life to the full.

Drew can be endearing but at times but rather annoying talking about her privileged life and the occasional screams throughout her performance (a little 'over acted')

Found the whole thing a little too self indulgent personally but did love how she talked about her daughters and what parenting means to her.

I totally loved listening to this book and fell in love with Drew, the way she reads it is colourful and inspiring, I love the way that all her misfortunes in her early life have given her the strengths to get to where she is today a bit like me as I am the same age! I'm so glad she got her happy ending!

Extraordinary Life of Dwight Howard

Dwight Howard is bold, both spiritually and on the court, making him my favorite NBA player of all time.

He has lived an extraordinary life being drafted number 1 by Orlando Magic right out of high school to venturing into a number of charitable works over the years. He is an inspiration to many children, sport fans and Christians alike so was naturally drawn towards the story within.

A mediocre attempt at self-publishing

Please look elsewhere for books on Kershaw. I'd recommend his autobiography rather than this. This book is more like a junior high research paper with a few pictures. I don't recommend that anyone buy this book. You'll be disappointed. I'd ask for a refund, but the process is too much of a pain to send the book back.

Kindle format maybe, Paperback format NOT!

I was disappointed with the quality( or lack there of). As I was reading through (what is actually a pamphlet), rather than a book, that too many topics were introduced without any "meat" to any one of the topics. I may have been okay spending $2.99 on the Kindle format, but the $7.99 that I paid for the paperback was a waste of money.

I personally never actually spoke to the donut dolly always really wondered why they were there this book is very enlightening to me I was stationed in Anka Kaye Vietnam so I have some knowledge of what wnt on in the area.

This is an interesting story about one woman's service in Vietnam. Unfortunately excessively patriotic at least as far as I'm concerned though understandable bearing in mind the author's role was pseudo military. If you recall the British comedy telebision series from the mid seventies 'It Ain't Half Hot mu' well this is similar in that the Red Cross girls provided distractions for the serving soldiers in vietnam and entertainment for them. The narator though was disappointing. It sounded like a synthesizer was doing the work and the microphone was not of the best quality. it sounded as if the reader was virtually swallowing it. Still if you can get over that it's worth a read I think. If you like personal acounts you'll like this one.

The story of a successful OPEN and loving marriage

Id never heard of Sandstone before listening to this book. It was an interesting look into the creation and success of the Retreat as well as a great example of how an open marriage can work.

Barbara Williamsons relationship with her husband is one of honesty, deep love, and respect. Something we should all strive to achieve in our own relationships. They were self aware enough to recognize theyd need more than just each other to fulfil their sexual needs, but knew they wouldnt want to go through life without one another.

Despite the social taboo they were able to embark on the Sandstone experiment and help other couples navigate the tricky waters of their own relationships.

Hearing about the Williamsons lives post Sandstone was important because it showed how difficult it is to have an open marriage in mainstream society, and also that they were very compassionate people who dedicated their lives to helping not only people, but also animals.

I felt Harley Reese was the perfect voice for this narration. She was very pleasing to listen to, and captured the tone of the book perfectly.

Never laughed so hard!

Charlotte Crosby's new book is hilarious. She has such a dirty, funny mind and has a careless attitude. From her funny childhood stories, to her dramatic Geordie tales, the book can take you on an emotional rollercoaster.

Easy listening

Was an easy going audiobook on the whole. I like Charlotte Crosby so appreciate her in general, her behaviour & childlike jokes etc

The only thing that griped me was the narrator putting on a Charlotte voice which developed throughout! Dont get me wrong, she sounds very similar but it was a bit too put on and fake, so was a little grating. I find it a shame that most reality tv celebs cant be bothered to narrate their own audio books tbh but like I said, was a nice little journey of how shes grown up with Geordie Shore and really easy going listening wise.

Unauthorized Autobiography of Aaron Rodgers

One of my best friends is a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and for our recent book club they begged and pleaded that we read a book focusing on the football team they love. After searching around we all eventually settled on this autobiography of Aaron Rodgers. About half of the book club isn't interested in football, and the other half is. But we all agreed that this book was definitely well-written and very informative.

This is an unauthorized autobiography, but that didn't prohibit it from being very thorough. In fact all of us were very impressed with how detail-oriented the book was. Even my friend, who is ridiculously well informed on all aspects of the Green Bay Packers, learned some things in this book. The book covers all aspects of Aaron Rodgers life starting at early adulthood and going all the way to his professional career in the NFL. I always love learning about the humble beginnings of people who grow into some of the most idolized sports stars in history, and the fact that this book covered his childhood, early years, and teen years really interested me. I didn't know a lot about Aaron Rodgers going into this book (aside from the fact he was a pro NFL player), but after reading it I feel like I've definitely gained a lot of respect for him, his life, and his talent.

The book does a great job of covering all aspects of Aaron Rodger's NFL career- which was something that my friend was ready to scrutinize (because they, themselves, were a huge fan of Aaron Rodgers and felt they may have more information than the book could offer). With that being said, the book provided so much information on Aaron's time playing for the Green Bay Packers that my friend really had no additional info to add. THAT says a lot about how thorough this book is. And I was impressed.

One of my favorite chapters delved pretty deeply into Aaron Rodgers and his religion. In fact that was one of the most discussed parts of the book by my book club. It just brought up a lot of really interesting points about our societal expectations for 'celebrities', and it was really interesting to read an autobiographical view on Aaron Rodgers and his faith.

Overall, this book was very thorough, easy to read, easy to follow, and definitely left every single member of the book club way more informed on the life of the very interesting Aaron Rodgers. If you're a Green Bay Packer's fan, a NFL fan, a sports trivia fanatic, or just interested in learning something new- I definitely recommend this book.
