Publisher's Summary:
From New York Times best-selling author Lauren Blakely.
Let's say there was this guy. And he gave you the most mind-blowing night of sex in your life. And you never saw him again.
Until 10 years later.
Now, it turns out he's the only one in all of Manhattan whose restaurant is available for my charity's event. The trouble is, he doesn't recognize me.
This woman I'm working with is so damn alluring. The first time I set eyes on her, I'm captivated and I can't get her out of my mind. Even if it's risky to tango with someone I'm working with, she's a risk I'm willing to take.
The trouble is, she won't give me the time of day.
But I'm determined to change that.

Great Second Chance Novella
I love a good second chance story! With them already having a past I always feel like I don't need as much background to fall in love along with the characters. Gabriel and Penny have great chemistry which was very surprising for a novella because usually they are too short to really feel the connection. Lauren Blakely did a fantastic job of bringing this story to life with such a short amount of time to make us fall in love!
The narration is something that I need to say had some flaws for me. Don't get me wrong both narrators are excellent but they were not consistent in this audiobook. This is all about the accent, Zachary Webber didn't give Gabriel an accent but Andi Arndt did, it was a little distracting for me but didn't ruin the audiobook by any means!!
The perfect short read.
This book was a perfect short read in an afternoon. Delightful, hopeful and a true love story.

Short and Sweet
If you could sum up The Only One in three words, what would they be?
Second Chance Romance
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Only One?
My most memorable moment was when they finally tell each other who they are. Until that point in the book, they THOUGHT they knew the other but didn't tell the other one.
Have you listened to any of Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber s other performances before? How does this one compare?
These two are always excellent - no matter the book.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The Epilogue - when the went to the fountain.
Any additional comments?
I like that even though this was a short book, all the bases were covered. It didn't leave me with any unanswered questions at the end or longing for me. It was perfectly written and detailed.
The Only One Melts Heart by Audio!
What's not to love about second chance romances written by Lauren Blakely? You can never go wrong because you know you'll get strong, well developed characters, lots of humor and scenes with just enough heat to make cold showers necessary.
The Only One is a beautiful love story between two people who lost contact and by fate reunite.
Zachary Webber gave me Gabriel, with his sexy dialect of Brazilian-French infused tones that drove me crazy. In a good way of course. While Andi Arndt delivered the soft, sexy, confidence of Penny.
Loved!
Swoony, romantic and so heartfelt! I adored Gabriel and I loved Zachary's subtle accent. Penny is perfect for him! And Shortcake is the best dog!
