    I love Fulton Sheen
What did you love best about Life Is Worth Living, Part 2?
I love everything about the way he teaches the way he talks. I have never heard a more inspirational teacher and I'm not even Catholic yet, but I think listening to him is going to change that
What was one of the most memorable moments of Life Is Worth Living, Part 2?
When he explained why Catholics honor Mary. I have never ever heard anyone explain it to me at all much less so beautifully.
What about Archbishop Fulton J. Sheens performance did you like?
He is so articulate and almost poetic in his speaking. This is not a book I would have normally have ever thought to purchase but saw him on you tube and got interested in his teaching. So glad I bought this audiobook.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I can't even think of a title that is good enough for this book.
    Any additional comments?
I could listen to this audiobook over and over and I'm sure I will. Best audiobook ever.
As in part 1, part 2 has forever changed my life. I will never be the same.
ArchBishop Fulton Sheen has enlightened me to so many things that I thought I knew, yet I really did not. He showed me that despite our human ways, we are so loved by God. ArchBishop is one of my earthly heroes.
    Classic Bishop Sheen
Transferred from albums recorded decades ago, so the audio isn't consistent, but the content excels
    Perfect for today. Amazing
Amazing purchase. The best audio I've bought. A wordsmith, story teller, and gentlemen. Highly suggest.
Excellent - short of words to express my gratitude
What about Archbishop Fulton J. Sheens performance did you like?
There were moments I felt uncomfortable with his "emotional" and "stormy" voice but when he spoke calmly, which was most of the time, I just could listen to him non-stop. Very inspirational.
    Any additional comments?
Archbishop Sheen is a recent "discovery" for me and I am grateful for this gift. I decided to listen to most of his audiobooks available. Highly recommended to anybody seeking the sens of life and faith.

    Title: AHA

    Narrator: Kirby Heyborne
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 5 hrs and 32 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 03-01-14
    Publisher: christianaudio.com

    Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Christianity
    Publisher's Summary:
We've all had "aha!" moments in our lives, times when a sudden revelation surprises us with insight. According to pastor and best-selling author Kyle Idleman, we can experience this same kind of "aha!" in our spiritual lives. With everyday examples and trademark testimonies, Idleman draws on Scripture to reveal how three key elements can draw us closer to God and change our lives for good.
Awakening to the reality of our true spiritual condition, we see ourselves and our need for a Savior with renewed honesty. This realization leads to action, obeying God's commands and following the example set by Christ. As we see in the transformation of the prodigal son, the result is a life-changing, destiny-altering collision - an AHA moment that leads us home to our loving Father. We are all bundles of competing desires and half-true labels. We carry them around like scars; we carry them around like badges. They tell us we are no more than a job description, relationship status, or appearance. But the most important and truest identity of every Christian is that they are loved, accepted, and created in the image of God.
In The Truest Thing about You, Lomas addresses head-on the deepest questions of the soul: How can I know the truest thing about me? Not who I wish I was or who others say I am, but who am I really? He guides listeners to uncover and embrace the reality of how God sees them - and why it all matters. You will learn to give what your spouse needs most in marriage, and take what you need most in return. Find out: How couples fall in and out of love. Why marital negotiation is so tough. How to overcome selfish demands. How to get your spouse to meet your needs. How to resolve everyday conflicts. By learning to give and take fairly and effectively, you and your spouse can grow in love and compatibility.

    Publisher's Summary:
Having successfully helped listeners develop a solid prayer life with the best-selling release of A Praying Life, author Paul Miller applies his expertise to tackle an even more important issue - love. After all, love is what holds all things together, its what were looking for, its what we all need, and its what we must learn how to give. But loving people is hard. Our neighbors, friends, kids, spouses, and even our enemies require a relentless, self-giving demonstration of love that only God can produce within us.
Taking his cues from the perseverance and faithfulness portrayed in the book of Ruth, Miller sheds light on a biblical portrait of love that is sure to give us hope and transform our souls. Here is the help we need to embrace relationship, endure rejection, cultivate community, and reach out to even the most unlovable as we discover the power to live a loving life.

    Life changing
As with A Praying Life, Paul Miller has written a book that draws you closer to God by his in depth look at the Book of Ruth. Sometimes you hear something and simply know in your core it is truth. This book is that. May I live it out.
    It changed my life
This is the second book by Paul Miller that God uses to bring significant revelation to my life (years ago it was "A Praying Life". The kind of revelation that causes deep repentance and real faith about an aspect of God and thus changes you for real,
    I highly recommend this book.
Since it is about a love story and it's well written and so transformational is hard to put it down unless you want to escape from God.
    Syncing chapters labeled with audio
The book is wonderful. Wish the audio chapters would sync with the labels so my notes would correspond with the right chapter.
    Great book
The Author's insights and explanations of Love and the story of Ruth are beyond compare. I would highly recommend this book. Very Honest, humbling and motivational. Gives a thorough understanding of what Christian love really is.
    Beautiful book. A must!!!
So much weight and satisfaction in this book. It's an absolute treasure. I just finished my 3rd listening of it. So good.

Judson was ignored, mocked, beaten, and tortured, yet he never lost sight of his goal to translate the Bible into the Burmese language. Today, over 150 years after his death, his translation remains the only translation of the Bible in Burmese.

    Great story line
I love the inspiration of this history. I would give this to anyone who is feeling down.
    Very inspiring
Reading Adoniram Judson's biography definitely caused a perspective shift in my life. It's hard to imagine the suffering and loss this missionary endured and persevered through to complete his vision for the Burmese people. His translation of the Bible to this people group is still influential in translation ministry today. He accepted the call and sacrificed himself to fulfill it.
    Committed life to God.
This is a story about someone who lived for others and the next life to come to the honor and glory of God.
An engaging account of one man's love for Christ.
I was amazed with the suffering and God's provision for Adoniram. An inpiration for me as I desire Christ to be seen in the works of my hands, works that only God can do.
    Inspiring Bio
I was moved by his lifelong comittment in the face of such adversity. Adoniram Judson rocks!!

    fascinating!
I was excited to go to work each day so I coul listen in the car. I Just finished the books: "All the light you cannot see" and "Nightengale ". This was the perfect "next book" about same circumstances of people in France and Holland living the nightmare of Adolf Hitler's evil occupations, and surviving Death Camps. However Corrie was a real person and these were real experiences! Her level of faith and trust in God is energizing! thank you for this book!
Its just awesome and a little sad
I liked it a lot but it was also sad I am collecting your books so far I love them all ! I can't wait to have all your books!

loved this book. Very grateful that these stories are available in audio format. the narration is spot on you'll be thankful for the smallest annoyances in life when you realize that 'there is no pit that Jesus isn't greater'
    Inspiring and convicting
This is a beautiful book detailing the life or Corrie Ten Boom. It is well written and performed nicely.
It did glitch quite badly (around 1hr 10mins from the end of the book), and I think it was the recording not the Audible app.

    Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Christianity
    Publisher's Summary:
In this third book in the Apprentice Series, James Bryan Smith helps us know how to live in relationship with others as apprentices of Jesus. "Apprentices of Jesus are not part-time do-gooders," he writes. "They live in continuous contact with the kingdom of God, and are constantly men and women in whom Christ dwells. They do not sometimes tell the truth, sometimes live sacrificially or sometimes forgive. There are myriad opportunities for us to impact the world in which we live." Yet many times we've gotten it wrong, tending to emphasize personal faith over social justice or vice versa. In these pages Jim Smith shows us how to bring spiritual formation and community engagement together, and then once again offers spiritual practices that root new, true narratives about God and the world in our souls. His insight and humility as a fellow learner with us will lead us to live in authentic ways as a good and beautiful community of Christ-followers, shining the light of the Spirit into every relationship.

This is no ordinary walk. Jesus doesn't chatter. He doesn't pause. He is on his final journey.
He walks determinedly to the holy city, angrily into the temple, wearily into Gethsemane, painfully up the Via Dolorosa. And powerfully out of the vacated tomb.

    Publisher's Summary:
Without the presence of Christianity, our world would be considerably different. Whether we view it in religious, social, or political terms, Christianity has deeply and integrally influenced the Western worldview and way of life. Yet, throughout Christian history, compelling controversies have existed surrounding the faith's first three centuries, when it grew from a persecuted sect into a powerful religion. These controversies bring into question many commonly accepted beliefs about Christianity.
In this course, an award-winning professor and New York Times best-selling author offers a penetrating investigation of the 24 most pivotal controversies, shedding light on fallacies that obscure an accurate view of the religion and how it evolved into what it is today. In each lecture, you'll delve into a key issue in Christianity's early development:

A remarkable look at early Christianity.
This is the second set of lectures I have listened to by Professor Bart D. Ehrman. The lectures were excellent. My time was well spent in familiarizing myself with the various controversies such as was Jesus really born in Bethlehem (unlikely) or that contrary to what many modern readers think, the Book of Revelation is not unique and the subject was the Roman Empire.
This book is not for all people - some have no interest in ancient history and for others, their faith may make this too sensitive a topic. Ehrman states early on:
"In these lectures, we will approach controversies of early Christianity not from the perspective of faith but from the perspective of history. We will not deny or affirm Christian belief or the approach to the Bible by faith; instead, we will take the approach of the historian one who tries to reconstruct what actually happened in the past without assuming any particular faith commitments.
You may or may not feel that the conclusions we reach about controversial issues will have any bearing on your faith. But the fact that so many issues have been in dispute in Christianity from the earliest days of the faith is interesting in itself. What makes Christianity so subject to controversy on so many points? Why have those issues persisted for so long, and why have they so often been divisive? As we look for ways to resolve the disputes that are the subject of this course, well look for answers to those fundamental questions, as well
    Essential early Christian history
Ehrman is an erudite scholar of Biblical history, especially as it pertains to early Christian history. This course was so interesting and informative that when I finished it, I started it again. If you are interested in the topics in the above description, listen to this course.
Note: This is not a devotional course.
