Jax' s wedding was called off by her fiance two days before the big day. So, since she had paid for the honeymoon at Nirvava she packed and went there.

Maverick is running Nirvana while Chase is on his honeymoon. While in town he keeps seeing this pretty blonde, alone, appears to be from out of the area and definitely it dressed for the snow that is coming down. When he gets back to the ranch, he finds out she is the one who was supposed to be in the honeymoon suite that her fiance had called and cancelled

Jax isn't really broke up over the change in wedding plans and is drawn to Maverick, but can she break through the walls he has built since his wife died years ago?

A really great story which moves along quickly, is captivating and has good lessons about personal baggage and great romance.

A great book

This was a great love story. It shows you that everyone deserves a second chance at love and happiness. Maverick lost his pregnant wife in a car accident. He has vowed to never let anyone into his heart again. Jax was dumped a few days before her wedding. She is determined to move on with her head held high. Jax decides to go on her honeymoon alone, after all, it is already paid for. When the two of them meet, it's an instant attraction. Maverick struggles with his feelings, he feels he has betrayed Sara, his dead wife. Jax can't understand her attraction to him. After all, this was suppose to be her honeymoon. Can the two of them let go of there past, to have a future they both deserve?

Love It!!

Very SEXY read!! This series just gets better and better with every story. I loved Maverick and Jax, they each had heartache they had to overcome to find that true love again. When the walls come down around his heart he falls very hard for his city girl and it was amazing.

Wonderful book!

I can't say enough about Sharon Srock's books. Written from a Christian perspective, her books are about strong, independent women. Kate is no exception. Twice widowed, Kate isn't looking for love anymore. She wants to use her inheritance money to build a foundation to meet the needs of military widows. When Nicolas, a retired Air Force man, hears about this foundation, he wants to be a part of it. With a few little twists and turns, Kate and Nicolas find that they both hold a part of each other's past and future. Laura Jennings does a beautiful job narrating this book, giving each character their own voice.

A Story That grabs (and keeps) Your Attention

This story grabbed my attention right from the start. It was well written and the characters were fully developed. I felt like I was in the story and was watching it as it developed. I loved that it was a continuation of the Valley View series and I knew the characters. The narration was well modulated and pleasant to listen to as I worked. All in all, I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting a good, clean story.

Would you listen to Kate again? Why?

I probably would listen to this story again. First because it is very inspirational. Keep in mind that I wasn't raised with a church background, so this might sound silly, but the story made me realize that prayer is an ongoing process - 24/7 - not just before bed and on Sunday. Hearing Kate and the other characters praising God for the good things, and asking Him for help and guidance when troubled really had an impact on my heart and mind. The second reason is because it is a sweet, clean romance between older, more mature adults. Since I am older, it made the story more enjoyable.

True dual narration

I really enjoy listening to books read in this manner it really makes the story.

Loved It

This book was so good. It flowed smoothly and kept me interested from the first chapter. Ryan and Julia meet in College and become best friends. They are both into each other but are afraid to rock the boat and lose the beautiful friendship that they have. I love the narrators as I think they are perfect for Ryan and Julia. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

Fantastic sequel!

Sometimes, when we sacrifice ourselves so others can have a better life, we sacrifice our sense of worth, too, if not careful. For Jason, this is his battle. Once homeless and on the streets, he took care of Miranda and her little sister Cassie, young adults who also found themselves without a safe place to live. He ensured their every need was met until they didn't really need him anymore. A situation that becomes increasingly clear, to Jason at least, when an old friend of Miranda's rolls into town. An arrival that tips Jason's perspective of his and Miranda's relationship upside down until he questions everything, including, "Will I ever be enough for her?"

This is a fantastic sequel to Wrecked and Yours, the first book in a New Adult romance series by CeeCee James. Both books have great character development and address real issues. The romance is sweet (kissing only) and the language is light. The banter between Jason and Miranda is funny (and sometimes cutsie) and Cassie is a real hoot. I want to adopt her as a younger sister! I think she and I would get along fabulously. I must confess, my favorite scenes are the back flashes of their days as homeless teenagers.

Great read, CeeCee! I look forward to book three. There is a book three, right? RIGHT? I want to find out what happens between Cassie and Leif! :D

I love this series

CeeCee James is one of those writers that spins the sweetest tales, and never leaves you disapointed. I love this series, I love the sweet romance, and the story. Engaging and fun!! Anyone looking for a good, clean read with a great story, will love this book! And the whole series!

Loved this book, it's ALL about love, love for one another and for others. Everyone needs love no matter how rich out how poor you are. Always think about others and not only yourself. Young our old we ALL need help some times in our lives

Blown Away Indeed

Imagine you are happily engaged to be married. A wonderful life ahead of you and in a blink of a moment it all is taken away from you. This is what's happening to Drew. Everything is taken from her, relying on her friends to make it through a very hard time. Then an opportunity comes along to good to pass up. Not only is she chasing storms but little does she know she will also be chasing happiness. The one that could make that possible is Aiden. Dealing with his own experiences from his past he doesn't fell like he is the right one for Drew. He's a one night kinda guy, doesn't snuggle, doesn't do long term, so clearly he isn't the right man for Drew. What will it take for him to admit to his feelings for her? Will Drew find happiness again?

This is a wonderful entertaining sexy story about two people who are destined to be together but just don't know it yet. I loved the characters. Loved the excitement, the drama and the sexual chemistry between Drew and Aiden. Another five star story by Brenda Rothert. A definite recommend.

Nothin but Bear!

Fate has never worked so quickly!

I was given a copy of this in exchange for an honest review. I love shifter books and this one was no exception! Carol has shifted for the first time and has totally freaked out. She was abandoned by her mother to an orphanage so she doesn't know anything about her parents. She travels to West Yellowstone and the Curvy Bear Ranch so that she can try and find her mom and learn about why she shifted. Once she gets to the ranch, she meets Hank who then decides he will take her to where ever she needs to go. They are both drawn to one another and their feelings develop strongly and quickly. While Hank helps to find her mom, he also gives her the support she needs to get through this trying time in her life and has the ability to answer any shifter questions that she has. They are a very strong couple and together they overcome all obstacles that will get in between her mom accepting her and Carol moving to the ranch even though they have only known each other less than a week.

Love this series

This book is short but sweet. It has great characters, great storyline, the dialogue flows nicely, and the descriptions to detail are done where it's easy to follow .

Written as a multi POV. Even though this is part of a series it can be read as a standalone. It is nice to see the characters from the other stories play such a huge part in this book.
