    Most inept psychiatrist ever!
Don't waste your time with this book. There is no story here. At first, I thought there were too many stories then it ended up not being any. Can't believe this woman made it through any of the training necessary to be a psychiatrist and wouldn't want her to be anywhere near my nearest and dearest. What a waste.

Two radical groups have joined together for a common purpose - to kill the President of the United States, and they're looking for the perfect person to do the job.
Not a cold-blooded killer or a vicious assassin, but a model citizen, far removed from the watchful eyes of Homeland Security.
When the president comes to Kansas City, the unlikely trio of Walt, Willie, and Louie the Lip find themselves knee-deep in the planned assassination.
Join our heroes for another suspenseful mystery and lots of laughs!

    Enjoy!
    cozy-mystery, humor, law-enforcement, conspiracy, extremists
Two groups of hate extremists join together and victimize a man already victimized by circumstances. They teach him marksmanship and to take the fall for assassinating the President and give him the money his family needs. At this same time, there is more drama within our old friend Walt's group of friends. Add in the folks at Homeland Security, and both insanity and humor ensue. Another good think piece on the good, the bad, and the ugly.
George Kuch continues his stellar performance as narrator.
    Politics make for strange bedfellows
If you could sum up Lady Justice and the Assassin in three words, what would they be?
Politics really does make for strange bedfellows. The Neo-Nazis are teaming up with the Ozark Militia (a group that wants to do away with government control) to assassinate the President of the United States. Both groups dislike him for different reasons but have the same goal of getting him out of office before he can make too many changes they don't like. Once again Walt is in the right place at the right time and manages to thwart their assassination attempt on the President. When Walt takes off with the would-be assassin, an average Joe who has fallen on hard times and is desperate to take care of his family, the crazies come after them. After-all they had promised their assassin that if he took their money and failed to perform they would kill him and his entire family. Walt counts on the anger of the Neo-Nazis and the Ozark Militia and uses them to solve a completely unrelated problem.
I received this audiob00k for free from the author in exchange for my honest review.
I love these fun quirky books.
I have listened to the entire series. and each book keeps getting better. I have a huge library and these are among my favorites.
    I really enjoyed this book!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes i think i would. Normally i find the 20 different tentacles/off shoots/etc from the main story a bit distracting but this one didn't seem to have as many and they wrapped together pretty quickly which was wonderful.
What did you like best about this story?
I always love how Walt is just humble about his part in everything and just wants to do the job. no fuss, no muss.
Which character as performed by George Kuch was your favorite?
I always like walt and willie of course, but i also love the old lady that takes care of his building
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I don't know, i am not good at tag lines
    Any additional comments?

Po Thang Meets Bubbles--A Tail of Two Species
I've been really enjoying a lot of audiobooks of late--engaging the brain while the body is otherwise occupied doing such mundanities as laundry, cleaning, shoveling snow . . . I started in on "Just Different Devils," the very first book I've read by Jinx Schwartz, and was immediately caught up in a FEMALE heroine off on the same sorts of hijinks usually reserved in thrillers to the male of the species. Occasionally bordering on the slapstick, Hetta Coffey, a forty-year-old adventuress who is living on a boat near Baja, Mexico, gets involved in a string of events with her dog, Po Thang, and an assorted group of friends with whom she's clearly had many an adventure in the past. We are treated to some delightful female bonding plus all the derring do and action of a Bruce Willis flick (Brucetta?), well narrated by Stevie Puckett who clearly has an ear for Scottish, Texan, and Spanish inflections.

    Fun Series!
I had read a few books in this series and really enjoyed them, so I was thrilled for the opportunity to try one in audiobook format. Reading is great but the audiobook really brings this story to life in a most delightful way. Stevie Puckett did a great job with the narration and I had a terrific listening experience. Hetta's adventures are always tons of fun and this one is no different. Mayhem abounds when Hetta's at the helm and you're in for a devilishly good time! I would recommend Just Different Devils: Hetta Coffey Series, Book 7.

I have read and listened to several books by this author and narrator and so enjoy them. The characters are quirky and endearing. There is humor and twists in the book, which I love. Each story is original and standalone listens. This review is not a synopsis of the book, but my opinion. I think the books are getting better and better. Publisher's Summary:
It was all going so well for Peter Lee's drug empire. He had a hold on the producers in Afghanistan and Pakistan. His receiver network was increasing and the distribution was now being handled by four of the biggest gangs in London. With business so good, he was starting to expand. He was becoming very, very rich. The only small annoyance had come from a little old lady who owned of all things a corner shop. She had refused to accept any of his special parcels and wanted to go to the police, so she'd been given two bullets, the double tap both to shut her up and to send a message to everyone else in the network. Unknown to Lee she was married to a specialist, a man who, in a former life killed men for a living. He had two friends, one a gatherer of information, the master in his field, one a breaker of men, who was so vicious that it was rumored that each time he hit a man he cut him. Each of these three men had spent thirty years and more playing the great game inside the security company called The Firm they were legends known only as The Assassin, The Grey Man and The Surgeon. Now living at the edge of the secret world and about to disappear into history, this atrocity had brought them back center stage but the question is, do they still have what it takes to go up against today's hard men?

    Quick and good read
Fun for the beach or a plane trip. Makes you feel like the plot fits together too neatly, but fun characters that you care about.
    Didn't see that comming!
99.9% of the time I can either figure out the who done it or at least have a good idea who did it. I didn't even start to get it with this book!
When a book can do that I consider it an excelent read...
This book has a rich handsom guy, who all the females fall all over (and hes a bit full of himself!). A strong female who insists on getting what she wants. Lotts a murder and mayhem... And a stumper for a plot!
    Yep a good read!
Check out my review on Max Sawyers other book!
Once again Max has given us readers an excellent little book to go to bed by!
Of course once I started to read it I couldn't turn the lights off. Very easy reading for those sleepless nights that you don't want something real heavy but quite enjoyable just the same.
Here's to Max Sawyer that he will continue this character in future books.
    Crime thriller, enjoyable reading
LOve the characters, the plot and the backdrop of a small town. Being from Memphis, and having lived in the Mid South for many years, it was fun reading a really good book with these areas as the setting.
It's easy to read and fun. You can tell the author enjoys his role as a story teller, and loves to mix things up with his characters. YOu will not want to put this down once you start reading it!
    Great book'

The second book in the Shelby Alexander Thriller Series, Serenity Stalked takes listeners inside the mind of a terrifying killer. The stakes have never been higher.
    Members Reviews:
Good author-wish he wrote full length novels...
In this second book to the Serenity series there is a serial killer in the loose. The man moves around quite a bit, never staying in one place for too long. He moves each time after he's committed enough murders that people are beginning to get suspicious and before eyes fall on him he's gone. In this book he kills a family of three, makes it look like a home invasion. He then sets his sights on Carly, Shelby Alexander's young girlfriend (she's about the same age as his daughter). There's some cat and mouse play with her and the killer thinks he's falling in love with Carly but... he has to get Alexander out of the picture.
This is a busy story, great characters with lots of reminiscing about past kills, scheming about future kills and plans to stay safe.
Theo Holland does a great job narrating.
    I RECOMMEND this novella

Craig A. Hart delivers another fast-paced, captivating thriller with Serenity Stalked. This time around, Shelbys feisty girlfriend, Carly, is the target of a serial killer . . . but the killer may have bitten off more than they can chew. As with Harts other books, I read this in one day, and it didnt disappoint!
    Loved it!
I listened to this Saturday night while cleaning. I loved it, it held my interest and it was full of suspense. He did a good job developing the characters, I could imagine what they look like. I like the narration also. It's after midnight and I just finished it, I couldn't stop once I got started. I can't wait for the next one!
