Any additional comments?
This story was wonderfully written. The characters were well developed and the narration brought out their special difference and emotions. The book was full of twists and turns that included bad weather, sinister plots, devious characters, romance, love, and devotion to God. A must read! Delightful!
Enjoyable and inspirational story
I really liked this book. It really pulls at your heartstrings, seeing how a family handles its joys and sorrows with their faith in God. It was really rather inspirational to see a little girl's faith acted out, penetrating every aspect of her life, from how she shows love to those around her, to those she forgives. The characters were really well-developed and are easy to form an emotional connection to. This book had action, romance, tragedy, and other difficult situations, but all were written in a "clean" manner - not too much graphic detail. It is easily something that could be shared with the whole family, or that you can read or listen to without worry about young children seeing or hearing too much. I listened to the Audible audio version of this book, and I enjoyed the narration. The narrator has a pleasant voice and her reading felt effortless and comfortable. This is the first book I have read by Debora Coty, but I would gladly try some more of her books, and I highly recommend this one.
