Horrible story .. bad narration

What would have made When It Happens better?

the plot was just horrible from the beginning , I would re-write the whole story to make it better .. with different characters and more depth

no .. not exactly because I've faced bad books in the genre but I expected more from Susane Colasanti

How could the performance have been better?

there was no information in this book .. just poor characters who want to fall in love and have sex

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from When It Happens?

she does not feel the character and she narrate as she is reading the story for the first time so she doesn't get the tone right .. and she ruined the mood for me

The CLIQUE 10 p.s. I loathe you: best book in the series

The CLIQUE books make up my fave BOOK series in the world! I swear to Gawd. In this book Massie starts a cheerleading team while fighting with Claire's (and Kristen's!) LBR friend Layne over Dempsey Solomon, an ex-LBR who has improved while in Africa. Claire and Cam are full on now, Dylan has a new bf, Derrington, the ex--crush of Massie. Dune comes back but Kristen isn't really THAT excited. Why?

I aw-nestly think this book is relatable to tweets and teens in a middle school with and alpha and her BFFs that rule your school and cause drama. I mean, it's more than that too. Dealing with boys and friends and stuff is all in THE CLIQUE SERIES BY LISI HARRISON

The Clique Series

Again - gifts for my niece; ended up sneaking a peek at the content. Cute stories - a bit on the shallow side, regarding labels and monetary things but its still a good little series. Every story got a little better - I had to pre-read my nieces books! LOL!

Love it

Book was fantastic. But Amazon book Prices are to high. I read this whole series, and I dont want to spoil this book, but it was awesome. Although I find the title very unattractive.

P.S I don't loathe this book!

I loved this book! I'm so happy Claire and Cam got back together, they're so perfect for each other! Now Massie is over Derrington and now has a crush on Dempsey. Massie is trying to get Dempsey to like her the whole book.I like how it kind off circles around Kristen more than usual. I also really like the cheerleading squad! I loved this book and so will you!

I liked the book but, it was way to short. It left me needing more.

Pleasant Surprise

I got this book because of the narrator after listening to a different book she narrated. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. My only complaint is it is an awfully short book to spend a whole credit on, but I don't regret the decision at all.

i really liked the spin-off series with jenny. getting to know more in-depth about her life was very interesting, but the gossip girl book are way better in my opinion.

Good fun read!

If you want something light and easy to read than this series is it. I enjoyed all of this series. The character's were likable and fun and each book covers just a small part of a year. I would recommend it, but not for young girls.

Exploration leaves answers to reader

An interesting exploration of girls' attachments, affection, and sexuality that doesn't spoonfeed answers, but allows their contemplation and possibility.

Perhaps, it was entertaining to listen to in the car, but I don't feel the need to listen to it again right away though. I enjoyed the plot and performance.

Would you listen to The Raven again? Why?

I have since purchasing this audiobook, listened to it at least twenty times. The quality of the performance and the depth of emotions it outstanding. The best reading I've yet heard.

Terrible narrator

Sorry but this guy should be reciting something from Shakespeare as his voice was way to weak and not nearly scary or evil enough for something written Edgar Allen Poe!

I really enjoy listening to this. It is read so well, with so much feeling. I recommend this to everyone who, like me, loves poetry.

Great Book

I found this book very enjoyable. Hearing the book with a full cast really brought it to life. The main character reminded me of when I was 15 and really brought back lots of memories for me. I highly recomend this book to young and old alike.

Great Listening For Ages 10+

My son, age 10, and I enjoyed this very much. The cast audio makes this story come to life.

Beautifully written

This book is appealing on many levels. The narrator is a deep, but compelling character that exposes the vulnerable side of adolescence that we all experience at some point in life. The need to make our own decisions, but to learn from others around us is a recurring theme in this sometimes humorous, always touching book. First loves, support of parents and the desire for greatness are all seen in this well written and always enjoyable walk down the boardwalk during a summer of growth and maturing.

the audio makes it come alive

Good story based as much rich characters as on the plot of the story. It is well read and this in itself will help it hold the attention of the younger audience.

First off. ...if you haven't read any of this authors previous Night Human series, you may want to check them out first to get acquainted with the world building. If you've already read the other books and book 1 of this awesome series then buckle up! We see Whitney grow into her siren abilities. ...true to form Sams evil brother Tim causes trouble. ...how to keep Whitney safe when Sam himself is ordered to remain underwater by his overbearing dad. Whitney is left alone on shire as her friends have been ordered to act as servants to her archnemesis Amber. Curious siblings show up to the school and befriend Whitney in her time of need. There's something unique about them. ...she just doesn't know what it is. All kinds of supernatural mayhem occurs. ...who will come out on top? Will Sam and Whitney's love reign supreme? Will the King realize what a jerk he's being? ....(don't hold your breathe) ...I can't wait to see what happens next! I'm LOVING this surprise faction in the Night walker realm. Looks like within the siren faction there's still a huge amount for us to discover along with Whitney. Personally I'm also hoping we may see her BFFs from the previous Night walker/Daywalker books show up in the future. another great shifter story

Once again, another great shifter story. Ms Kristin, I'm 60 yrs old. My first book that I owned was Wild Animals I Have Known at age 7. I mostly read fantasy now, although I've read book from every genre out there. It is so good to relax and read a great shifter story w/o having to run into lurid sex scenes. I understand they're YA. I actually find myself reading more and more of it because of that fact. Thank you so much for writing exceptional fantasy stories I can share and discuss with my granddaughter. (The whole family are Sci Fi/Fantasy nerds) keep up the great work.

Enemy of my enemy

Another fast paced book. Lots more to learn about in this book, and some nice twists. I hope to see more good relationships and more of the friends from the first book come back in the third. I hope the future at the top is not as lonely as it seems.

A great quick read! I finished this one the same day as the first.
