fantastic conclusion to the series

I am so happy to say that this is one series where each book is definitely better than the last! So many trilogies go from amazing to meh, but this one went from great to fantastic. I listened to the entire book in a day because the pacing was so snappy and I just had to know what would happen next.

I'm not usually a fan of adding dual pov's--especially when they're both first person--in the last book in a series. But it actually worked in this one, and I really liked hearing Angus's side of the story. I also thought the narrator who read his parts was fantastic!

I loved how proactive and positive Charlotte was in this book. There wasn't a lot of unnecessary angst and drama, and there was just enough "will they/won't they" to keep me reading without making me want to throw the book.

Overall, this last book--and the series in general--is a home run. It's lighthearted and romantic, with great characters, believable dialogue, and great writing. And best of all, this series is clean enough for anyone! I can't wait to read more from this author.

The Wife Maker

This book has a lot of meat to it. Charlotte has figured out what she wants and she has made some big decisions to achieve her goal. To some it may seem foolish that she quits her job and moves to a strange city with nothing lined up just so she can follow her heart.

The issues are deeper in this book than the previous two. I think Charlotte's character has changed and become more serious. Angus is always on edge, kind of obnoxious and mean at times. What is he doing to his friendship with "Charles?" It's true that we hurt the ones we love when we stop communicating our true feelings. Like REAL relationships, their story is not all blind bliss. I liked the conclusion to this story.

Oh, and I loved the reader for Angus!!!!

Amaaaaazing!!!

Finally, Bryce's POV! Sexy, sweet, confident, talented, possessive and protective. Bryce shows us how all in he is with Alexis and she is an even better character from his POV. I liked her in all the other books, but seeing her through Bryce gives depth to her character. Brayden's birth was beautiful as was Bryce visiting the family plot to talk about him. I want another book. Give me adult Brayden off to college!!!

Bryce's POV = wonderful

I really enjoyed the first three books in this series. So I was a little reluctant to buy this thinking it would be a rehashing of what I've already read. While there was some overlap, it wasn't a lot AND it was in Bryce's POV.

I absolutely loved getting his reactions and seeing a softer side of him. The scene at Gareth's grave between him and Alexis was very moving. The wedding vows were perfectly Brylexis and that is all I can say about it.

This was a great wrap up to their story, even though I'm sure there is bound to be more. It was also a great set up for Derek and Carly's story!

FROM MR. SEXY'S POINT OF VIEW

This is the 4th book in the "Temptation" series. I don't usually post a book review but this is without a doubt the best series I have read in a very long time. (Also, it has a reasonable price.) It was sweet, romantic, funny as crap and OMG, was it ever more H O T !!!!! I love, love, LOVE Bryce. There is not a woman alive who would have been able to resist him. I highly recommend this series and you will not regret starting it. Just be prepared to lose sleep and have house work left undone because you will be addicted. The first book in called Temptation.

There were several instances of misused words in this book which needs to be corrected but I did not count off for them since the overall book was awesome.

BRYLEXISâï

If you have read the previous 3 books in this series, you CANNOT miss this one. I laughed(out loud on the railroad), I cried. Let me thank you, Kelly Golland, for writing this amazing series. WAITING, once again for Carly and Derek's story. .

Oh Bryce!!!!

What a wonderful series. Loved each and every book in the Temptation series. Men are few and far compared to Bryce. Alexis and Bryce's relationship is wonderful the chemistry is amazing. I really liked the characters being older I would highly recommend.

Great Story, Excellent Narration

If you could sum up The Fifth Kiss in three words, what would they be?

A good regency romance

Who was your favorite character and why?

The narrator does a great job with all these characters but if I have to choose I'd say I liked Olivia the main character because she develops as the story goes along and you go from an initial opinion of her character to another as she grows. I also loved the exchanges the two Aunts have, funny.

What does Ruth Urquhart bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you had only read the book?

I think the characterisation is brilliant, it was like listening to a radio play and her voice as the narrator is pleasant to listen to.

This is a great regency period story with author and narrator bringing to life beautifully the setting, period and the many characters. Ruth has a great voice for this piece. The characters were all well defined and the narration easy and pleasant to listen too. It's been very relaxing to spend my Sunday in this era with these characters. Well done.

Intrigue -- The long way around

This second novel in the series dives deep into Adam Backwood's past. August does an excellent job building suspense and anticipation to understand many secrets. Blackwood is trying to raise $20M for investment from the Quick Family. Allison, the Quick daughter, is sent in to do due diligence. The narration is ping, pong male female which works.

This novel is tightly focused on Adam and Allison, so you do not learn much about the other players. Although both Mia and Ethan do make an appearance (form book 1) in this book. I hope that August eventually develops a novel around Cookie, she is bit of an enigma. I recommend book two. Give it a read.

Perfect!

Even better than Boomerang which is saying a lot. Noelle August is a great storyteller and brought more complexity to this couple but let them grow and have fun. The new narrators portrayed this well. Hope there's another installment.

Good lighthearted read. Even better than the first book.

First of all, Matt Baca is amazing as usual! Why hasn't he narrated more stories yet? Grrrr..

Second, just as this story get good, it ends! I haven't read nor listened to FM romance stories in a while but I love hearing Matt Baca's voice and fell for this story. I hope it's him who narrates the rest of this series.

Great short story

The narrative is done well. The story was predictable but still a great listen. This is one story that I will listen to again.

This is a series... Not a stand along.

Terrible book and narration..

Ive read 10 or 15 of Rita Herrons books, I especially loved The Slaughter Creek series, but I didnt like this at all. There were just too many secrets between the sisters and they hadnt even seen each other for ten years. Why did they refuse to tell each other about their personal lives? They acted like angry teenagers.

And then there was Levi, who pretended to be planning a wedding for himself and his fiancé. As if anyone would believe that kind of nonsense; a man planning a wedding WITHOUT the soon-to-be-bride? The undercover story could have been much better than that. (He was undercover to try and find out if Izzy was a crook along with her husband.)

The story was silly. Ms. Herron should probably stick to her murder mysteries.

There was no sex in this but there was a few dirty little thoughts.

As to the narration: Ive tried at least 3 times to listen to Natalie Ross but Im at an end. She does read with emotions and she does do womens voices in different tones and accents that are great BUT she only has one mans voice, which I do appreciate, but that one voice is just terrible. Its like hes constipated or something. Its just a terrible sound. I give up!!

Won't Disappoint

I like to leave reviews in a way that I would want to read a review of the book so here it goes. First of all, this is a stand alone book. No cliffhanger. We only get one point of view. We see the story through Evie's eyes. This story had me in knots. Rhys will make you fall in love with him. He is so sweet and patient. Evie was a bit difficult for me to understand. To be honest I didn't even like her most of the time. I understand that she is struggling majorly with her sister's death, but she is rude and gruff to most people in the book. There are times were we see her true self come out instead of the character that wrecks everything. I wouldn't have liked her very much if I had met her. Emily Snow does a good job of making me like Evie in the end. To me this story is more about Evie and how she is coping and surviving than about Evie and Rhys. There are Evie and Rhys moments, but I feel like there are more parts with them apart than together. There is a mystery that surrounds Rhys, Evie, Evie's sister, and Rhys' brother. We know that there is a connection, but we don't know the connection until later in the book. Evie recognizes Rhys, but Rhys doesn't know who Evie is. That makes for a bit of drama. Read the book to see who wrecks who and why.

Decent, but lacking appeal.

Wrecked follows the life of Evie after her sister dies in a terrible, tragic accident. Going to school far from home is supposed to take her troubled away. However, once Rhys (pronounced Reese) walks into her school she knows she is in trouble. What follows is a couple of months of want and need on both Rhys and Evieâs part until finally they come together. But her past is soon to catch up with her as these two are linked in a serious way,

This book was a quick read for me. I actually finished it in a day. The characters were fairly likeable, but Eveâs secret really started to get to me. I also was becoming a little annoyed at how often the work wrecked was used throughout the book. In some instances even I couldnât figure out why that word was being used in specific contexts.

Great Series!!

Loved this series! Real life issues with Fifty Shades Undertones! I would recommend to anyone Adult Female who loves those type of reads to enjoy these!

Best of the Beautifully Broken Series

This is the absolute best of all four. It is fiery and I loved every single moment of it. An excellent job.

Excellent book to read, not to hear

I couldn't stand the narrators, they didn't fit the actual characters. Distracts from the story to the point that I quit listening. Love the book and the series, I just wish the narrators were better fitted.

Not what I expected from this series

While it was a good book and a good conclusion to the characters in this story series it wasn't to the standard of the other two books. the other two books in the series were much better and we could've done without this one but to see that Jacey has straightened out her life was good to see but did not live up to expectations.

A great story

The ending is predictable and narrator voice changing is weak but both the latter and former were made by the overall story and characters, worth getting with credits.

I'm loving audio books

Would you consider the audio edition of Heartless: Episode 2 to be better than the print version?

I have just re read this book via audible. It was just as good if not better the 2nd time around. And listening to it was fantastic. Having my own little story teller with me whilst out and about. I'm new to listening to audio books and so far have only listened to books I have previously read.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Heartless: Episode 2?

The story in this book, just draw's you in right from the start. I was wondering at one point, how it was all going to come together, but it did and its was brilliantly done.

Casey Kelleher has written another superb exciting book that really is UNPUTDOWNABLE.

It's a long time since all i could think about was picking up my kindle to read just a little bit more... This is by far one the best books i've read this year.. and if i could give 6 stars i would ...A brilliant book which I would highly recommend
