Lots of good moments but I did skip ahead at times

Lots of good moments but I did find myself skipping ahead at times because of the irritating fiance. Got tired of hearing him and her mom badger her about everything and her just grinning and barring it. It was awesome when she finally let everyone have it, just before her sister goes into labor. The labor scenes were down right hilarious!

Way way too much build up

The entire story was build up and the end fizzled out. I don't like love triangle or dumb heroines that continue to do stupid things without learning from their mistakes. When Quinn first starts out telling us about her "perfect" finance its obvious he is far from that. Never once in the story does she convince us or herself that she ever really liked her fiancé much less loved him as her perfect match. There is really no steam in this story at all except a brief scene at the very end of the book. A real letdown

Good book

I thought this book was really good. I don't know why but I want me a white man lol I find them attractive. But anyways this was a good book I wonder if there's a second part or will be a second part to this book because it was a really good short quick read. I liked it.

I would recommend the book to them if they wanted a break from the intense stories. This one was fast, but not intense.

On one hand, I liked that the book was not boring and kind of fast paced. But on the other hand, I didn't like how fast and brusk the narrator's voice was at times. I felt that I was being rushed through the book.

an ok bwwm (prego) story

The lead character is a high school chemistry teacher that is around size 14-16. I felt for this character when she just wanted some fun and "action" but, didn't want to "settle" for boring or bad treament. And accident lustful hook up all most ruin a good thing. I wish the story didn't have the prego part but, it was still a ok bwwm story.

Too much sex

I like a little sex in a book however, the plot in this book was over-shadowed by much sex . And I did not like the lack of an ending for the sake of a second book. I gave this book an overall 4 because I liked its characters and the stories they lived out. But listens should know before ordering that it is a series, and I don't like series.

What a truly loving and heartfelt story, even though there's no murder or mayhem, there is still plenty of drama, crying, yelling, betrayal, hidden lies, secrets, scarifies, second,third & forth (lol) chances, villainies friends and families along with loving ones as well, selflessness, strengthens, loyalties, laughing, screaming, craziness, hot, sexy and steamy passion, and the must beautiful dedicated and all consuming love and bond that two people could only wish for. the story line was strong from beginning to end and stay on focus and draw the reader in from page one to the last and was able to hold the readers focus straight though. the best was that it was done in a 2 and more POV which made the Characters connection so strong and real and made you feel all there emotions to the point that you cry with them, laugh when they laugh, get mad when they do, and feel love when they feel it, which makes for the over all connection to the character's them self and the story. This is one hell of an all heart consuming must read now story, that I extremely recommend :) <3 & 5 Beautiful stars story <3

So beautifully raw, you can't help but to cry

Like a baby, literally off and on throughout the entire story, I cried like a baby!!! Everly marries the love of her life, Tyler. We start with the wedding and then.....he's dead!!!! DEAD!!!!! Less than 24 hours into marriage and poor Everly is already a widow. We jump 4 years in the future and the poor girl is barely hanging on. All dreams forgotten...she's trapped in the widow-zone. A shell of herself, she barely leaves her home and can no longer take care of herself. Enter Luca....her husband's best friend. After Tyler's death, Luca heads out of town for school and is just returning home after Law school. Luca, Luca, Luca....alpha..check....handsome..check.....rips up wedding dresses...hold up. Yes, that much alpha is bound to bring some life back into our young widow.

Enjoyed the storyline but the narrator...

I decided to give the story an overall 4 star rating. Initially, I was going to give it 3 stars because the narrator was so painfully awful to listen to, but that wouldn't have been fair to the author.

I enjoyed the angst Penelope felt being left alone to tour Paris by herself. No thanks to her workaholic boyfriend. I even appreciated that she recognized her emotional hurt at being abandoned (for lack of a better word) may have been a little childish, especially since this situation really wasn't his fault. Overall, I felt that her emotional ups and downs were believable. Although, I did think she was a little naive to go off with a total stranger to explore the non-tourist areas of Paris. Will she find her HEA with Matt or will this new love interest steal her away? I recommend you listen to the story and guess for yourself.

another short but nice bwwm story

I appreciate bwwm love stories even if the series keep giving you cliff hangers. I will continue to buy the audible versions

I love all Vicki's cowboy romance books but this one has turned out to be my favorite. Mac is every woman's dream and Anatasia is a free spirit artist. Once they act on their attraction and fall in love, they are torn apart by her new job offer. A wiser woman removes the roadblock standing in their way, but you won't get to the happy ever after without shedding a tear or two.

Vicki took me right into the story and I didn't want to leave when it was over... Mac and Anastasia were perfect together....Vicki never disappoints... I highly recommend this book...

Wild About the Wrangler is the second story in the Sexy Texans series and it is a very comfortable friends to lovers story. Anastasia and Mac have developed a friendship over the last 6 months since heâs come to town and they enjoy their time together. He was her inspiration in getting her artistic juices going again and he helps her by taking pictures of the wild stallions.

But when someone points out to Mac that she has a crush on him, he starts to see things in a different light. Should he put on the brakes or let this play out? Helping her with riding lessons became a true test of their friendship and she didnât make it easy on him.

Mac has his reasons for not letting things go to the next level with Anastasia, even if they are pretty weak. Anastasia deals with him by calling him out, and lets him know that sheâs a big girl and knows her own mind. Once he goes all in things definitely heat up and those scenes are steamy. Itâs just a little disappointing that they didnât heat up the sheets sooner than later in the story, but it took time for them to get to that point. It was nice seeing both point of views and how they both didnât want to wreck what they had established.

Both Mac and Anastasia were endearing in their care for their friendâs feelings and you could feel it from page to page. The more time they spent together with her riding lessons, the more right it felt. They just couldnât deny their physical attraction and how softly their friendship turned into love. The story is told with humor and flowed easily from beginning to end. I like Ms. Thompsonâs stories because they are light and fun reads and can be read fairly quickly. I enjoy the small town sheâs created in Bickford, Texas and the many inhabitants who make it their home. I also love the canyon and how she describes such a beautiful place.

Limited Brain Cells; Lots of Violence

I can't say who I disliked more, Levi for being a violent, selfish jerk or Sloane for agreeing to be his personal punching bag & simpering whore.

Levi (28) and Sloane (29) were supposed to be educated professionals who work at an advertising agency. Levi called all women including Sloane "girls" and flirted with every female as if he just discovered the opposite sex. Sloane allowed her sexual attraction to Levi to kill most of her brain cells and endanger her physical safety.

Levi didn't enjoy sex unless he was in total control (insecure much?) and he was inflicting pain & humiliation on his partners, proving his lack of humanity and disdain for women. Levi started hitting Sloane in bed, then progressed to other cruel and degrading activities. How insulting to Sloane - she wasn't exciting enough to hold his interest unless she was willing to demean herself.

I didn't understand why Sloane had such alarming low self-esteem. It was sad and depressing, listening as Sloane stated her belief that women ware too weak to handle being strong & competent in both their professional & personal lives. No, she had to choose one or the other, then remain subservient to men either at home or work. Sloane didn't realize that genuinely strong men protect, not harm women.

Once again, I was disappointed that a gifted female author was endeavoring to romanticize domestic abuse. Rather than creating an entertaining story about a self-confident woman who finds love & happiness, Kelly Jamieson was promoting the archaic idea that women are inferior to men. I found nothing amusing or engaging about Limited Time Offer.

OMG

Well, that's almost all I can say about it. I never believe reviews because they are so subjective so I'll give facts. 1. Main character is down to earth and smart. I really appreciate it when authors make the main character a real woman and not a Barbie doll. 2. Real life happens and life moves on. The story does include real life situations and how people deal with them and learn. 3. Narrator did an excellent job. I found no fault with her except in parts I did speed to 1.25. Overall, I don't believe I had laugh out loud moments but think that I would recommend to a friend for the weight and beauty of the story.

This book is a journey of mixed emotions

I really do not know how I honestly feel about this book. It is certainly not a run of the mill romance novel. This is the first time I have read a book by this author. I believe she has vision and talent.

The story begins with college heart throb Jace being tutored by the brainiac red head Maggie. True to all romance novels they have their ups and downs. Maggie see's something in Jace that attracts her despite his man whore ways. They fall in love and their journey begins.

I will not give spoilers but their journey is over years. In the end I have to say I am not a fan of Jace. I believe him to be weak. I am however on team Maggie. She has a spirit inside of her that I admire. She is strong, realistic and is not afraid to Google to find out whatever information she needs to learn something new.

I think the story is too drawn out at times. I believe better editing could of prevented this hence the four stars. The performance of the narrator was very good. Perhaps even the reason I did not skip ahead during some parts of the story.

The story line sucks you in. It is realistic. One cannot help but be drawn to Maggie. I really tried to feel for Jace, but could not. I would be interested to see other reviews in regard to him.

This book is credit or sale worthy, in my humble opinion.

What a love story

This story is about love, forgiveness and perseverance. It was a believable story and well written. The narrator made the story come to life. So worth a credit

A romance story with a twist!

I was given this audio book in exchange for an honest review. I liked this book.The story was your basic college jock has sex with any girl that looks his way, but then changes when the right girl comes along. Maggie called Jace on his actions numerous times, which I liked.
