Not one but two ,really good stories.Everything you could possibly want in one book.Love, mystery and adventure, right there waiting for you to turn the page.

Disappointed

It was so slow, I didn't even finish the book. I'm an avid reader of this author and was completely disappointed.

Five Stars

Good book

Carla is the best!

Carla's books are always hard to put down. She is the best. I prefer her Mystery/Romance over straight romance, but this was very enjoyable light reading.

I must Say Carla Neggers is one of my favorite writers.

Gabe and Fiona ~ A Slippery Affair

Sweet Mother of Jesus!

If the ending of Part Three left you breathless, then the ending of Part Four will leave you questioning everything!

This book was a defiantly a turning point for everyone! Fiona's life takes a tale spin that left me in tears. Gabe's reaction is par for the course, although he has feeling for her, his business his is main focus. And when Fiona thinks life can't get any worse, Gabe goes and does something drastic.

Now our two lovers are at an impasse, can they work through and regain their passion filled relationship? Can they continue to work together for the Protocol and all the good it will do? Or as Gabe just thrown away his best employees and the woman of his dreams?

I am seriously in love with these two!! They are both strong willed individuals that sometimes let their heads control their hearts. Their relationship has had many ups and downs, but can't help believing they belong together. Fiona has opened up a little more, but since she's keeping her true feelings secret, she is appearing a bit standoffish to Gabe. On the other hand, Gabe is also keeping his feelings to himself, but then again his head is trying to convenience him that his heart is wrong. The back and forth of Gabe and Fiona's relationship is caustic, but oh so thrilling. I can't wait to see how things turn out for one of my favorite couples.

Stop that whimpering!

I've completed all the books in this series and I find myself more and more fed up with Fiona's crying at the drop of a hat and her childlike behavior. Good lord she's a prodigy in the lab and a basket case outside! Gabe has issues of his own but at least he's extended himself more than most men would as far as Fiona is concerned. She is one woman I could never identify with.

Love it

Gave your horrible man poor feona you just have to give your heart to her and he thinks she's not strong .she is very brave just love this story though I need more please given as a arc

OMG.. This just keeps getting better and the frustration of Fiona.. Slipperless #4: A Billionaire Love Story by Sloan Storm

WARNING: SPOILER ALERT!!! But you have to read all of them!!

This is one of my favorite writers and series. Sloan Storm has done it yet again!! The cliff hanger from #3 had all of her readers begging for more and hoping that Gabe was ok. You could feel what Fiona was feeling as the time ticked on and Gabe had not made it up to the surface. She was panicked and rightfully so, then it happened.

Changed the narrator

The story was ok, but the voice of the heroine was awful. Maybe with a different narrator it could have been better.

4 stars

Ok. So the writing was decent and I loved the characters. Two things I didn't like: spoiler alert** one the sex scene was a little creepy (and I know she is having sex with an alien but it was too far off the wall to provide the benefit I would assume the author was trying for) and what the heck happened to the second in command(who then became in charge.) In the beginning he seemed perfectly reasonable, then what seems awfully suddenly he becomes a big jerk. It didn't seemed to follow how original character.** end spoiler. Maybe that's part of the story for the next novel. Those are the reasons for the 4 stars.

Neverwylde

Good characters, very descriptive narrative allowing the reader the see this new planet. I see the attraction between the hero and heroin.. thought the moved a little quickly into love but hay that's just my opinion. That's a lot of males and only one female stranded on a strange hostile planet, has potential for more than a few heads butting

Where is book two?

This was a different approach to space romance. The characters are different species but forced to survive on an alien world. Unique story that enthralled me.

Enjoyed the story and the characters. Looking forward to more from this author.

Science fiction with a budding romance between different beings. Good story and adventure. A beginning story and interesting series. I recommend this.

Hope this is a series

This is a really good start to what will be a fantastic series. I can see more humanoids getting sucked into this new area of space. ENJOY.

Ugh

Would you try another book from Ellen Dominick and/or Bailey Varness?

I don't know. I want to finish the series but the female lead character is so annoying that I'm not sure if I can take anymore.

What was most disappointing about Ellen Dominicks story?

I do not feel any real heat or connections between the lead characters. Plus the female is way annoying with all of her resistance and questions.

What didnt you like about Bailey Varnesss performance?

Very stiff and robotic.

You didnt love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

None that I can think of.

Title: More of Me

Publisher's Summary:

When Ryder Montgomery shows up on her doorstep 10 years after breaking her heart, Casey can't decide which burns hotter - her desire to be with him or the pain he left her with....

Members Reviews:

Second chance romance!

Great second chance romance story! Casey & Ryder were a couple in high school until he left her behind for college, totally breaking her heart. Now, his cousin Mac and her best friend Gina are getting married. Casey is the wedding planner & Ryder is taking time off work and is able to help out since Gina & Mac are swamped with work and unable to attend to all of the details. Circumstance (or Mac & Gina) are forcing them together. Will they find romance this time?

I loved these two characters & the premise of the novella. We were given enough backstory so that we knew what was going on and the plot had enough twists to keep us interested. My only complaint was that it was too short!

Love Reunited

Ryder and Casey dated years before when they were teenagers. He broke up with her and moved away, breaking her heart. Years later, she needs his help to make arrangements for his cousins wedding. Close proximity ignites their desire and love.

I loved the scene with the aunts at the wedding. It's now one of my favorite scenes from a book. So cute. I liked William setting them up. I liked the baby confusion at the beginning. I liked the lack of a huge breakup toward the end. Overall, just another great story by Samantha Chase.

Second Chances

This was a great story about second chances. Mac and Gina needed help with their wedding arrangement because of emergencies and work. Ryder was taking time off work and was able to help his cousin out. Casey was the wedding planner and twelve years ago was in love with Ryder. Now with having to work with him again things are conflicting. Will Ryder prove to Casey that he made a mistake or was it too late for their happily ever after? A must read book.

Another cute story

I am really enjoying the Montgomery Brothers series, and I'm so glad Samantha Chase is continuing with nephews! The family dynamic is wonderful!

Samantha rocks

After a summer romance ends badly, 12 years later come backs to life. Samantha weaves a tale of a second chance with a sweet story of Ryder and Casey. Adding to his cousins wedding plans throw them back together to remember everything the once had and all that they can have again. In true Samantha Chase form a great novella a sweet romantic story. I love all Samantha's books.

Great love stories

Great author , couldn't stop read this series all the books was great , love love all the books , about love forgiveness and happy ending!!!

Love this Fire & Icing novella

What made the experience of listening to Saving You: Fire and Icing the most enjoyable?

I love all of the characters, and have read the books. Hearing it on audio, especially as narrated by Piper Goodeve, is just really very nice. I like hearing how everyone is doing after their own stories have ended.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love them all, but it was really nice to see Lucy and Brandon, who have been mentioned and met in earlier books, get their own story.

Have you listened to any of Piper Goodeves other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, several, and she always does a great job. This is no exception.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Lucy finally allowed Brandon into her life.

Any additional comments?

Great series, great story.

Title: A Highland Heist: A Contemporary Romance

Subtitle: The Highland Heart Series

Author: Cali MacKay

Narrator: Ged Bowie

Format: Unabridged

Length: 5 hrs and 17 mins

Language: English

Release date: 08-26-15

Publisher: Cali MacKay

Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 6 votes

Genres: Romance, Contemporary

Publisher's Summary:

From USA Today best-selling author Cali MacKay...

Feisty and fiery security expert, Maggie Brennan, is thrilled when she lands the job to design the security system for the Highlander's Hope. At the top of her field, she usually prefers to work alone, but when the owner of the priceless jewels insists she work with his computer security expert, Conall Stewart, she doesn't mind it as much as she thought she would - not when Conall is damn smart and smoking hot, despite his gruff and grumpy exterior. Maggie loves a challenge, and she's sure Conall could be a whole lot of fun if he just loosened up a little.

The last thing Conall wants is to deal with Maggie, especially when she pushes all his buttons with her perky and highly caffeinated demeanor. All he wants is to be left alone, but the woman is distractingly gorgeous, brilliant, and funny. Before he even has a chance to shore up his defenses, she's managed to weasel her way into his heart, despite him having sworn off any type of relationship.

Yet outside forces are playing dirty, and there's suddenly more on the line than the Highlander's Hope and a love they never thought they'd find.

Note: This is book three in the The Highland Heart Series and was previously titled The Heist. Although part of a series, it can easily stand alone and does not end on a cliff hanger.

Another great one!

Let me say I waited and waited for this to come out. I'm very pleased with most of the story!! It's still one that you don't want to miss but I had 2 issues with the story. Nothing big and definitely not a reason not to enjoy this book. But she pretends to be his girlfriend to avoid unwanted advances. That's not a issue typically. But this happened in another story in the same series so it's a little frustrating to see it again. While the way they go about it is different it just had me a little sad to not get an entirely different scenario.

Also the end was just a little too neat for me. It was a little like everything worked out the end. However with those 2 irritations aside it's a really great book. I like him as the hero, he's a bit gruff but nit in a mean way. It's really a great story and I'm glad to have read it. Can't wait for more from her!

I hate when an author breaks the relationship trust and then tries to keep the couple

If you want a predictable book this is it. Girl meets guy, falls in love. Girl doesn't trust guy enough to be honest and upfront. Girl betrays hims by not telling him the truth and trusting in his love for her. Total crap I made it to page 108 before I stopped reading it. I love this author and her other books in this series, but I hate it when an author any author makes the mistake of breaking the trust in a relationship and then thinks that the couple can get past it and get back together again. It doesn't work like that in life and that is what the book too fictitious. I may trying reading the 87 pages I have left when I am not so pissed off at the author for ruining a perfectly good series. I am going to try another on of her series if she does it again I will give up on this author

3 in 1 book review for this series

I read all 3 books in this series back to back, and for the most part I enjoyed them. Romance and mystery combined in all three.

There were however a few things that disappointed me.
