This was a good follow-up to the first book. I wish the relationship between the shadow court and the other courts could have been explored a bit more, and between Lyssandra and her father.

I love Fae and vampire stories. It's a quick read and perfect for a rainy afternoon. I love the background story and look forward to book 3.

Enjoyed the story right from the beginning.. Couldn't put it down, wanted to see what was next.. Easy read. Now for book 2...

A good start

Unreal is a supernatural romance that incorporates elements of history with modern life and romance. The story draws you into a world of love spiced with elements of the supernatural suspense. The protagonist is a modern women torn between two complicated men with a history of antagonism between them. The reader will enjoy the ride.

Wow, Unreal is a story that you can easily get lost in. I loved how smooth the story line was. To not be in love, but to find love in this amazing way. To choose, and build a life only to have a shocking end was awesome. Book was great.

Enjoyed It

I was given this book in exchange for an unbiased review via audiobook boom. I loved the story. The only issue I had was that the 14-year-old was allowed to curse not only in front of Mom but grandparents as well and no one brought him to task about this. Stewart was a very good influence and helped the teen to experience his first shift correctly. Although this was a shifter romance the sex did not overwhelm the story. I like romance but that should be paramount and not the sex. This book did a nice job with the details. The narrator was very good. I did not read book 1 but this one read well as a stand-alone.

Cute story

I received this audio book free for an honest review. The story was cute. It had all the contents that a book needs to get you hooked from the beginning and keeps you interested until the end. Marlie Monroe does a great job with a short story. She doesn't leave you hanging in the end. I don't usually like many of the male narrators, but David Quimby does a great job, even with the feminine voices. You can definitely distinguish between the characters. I will look for more of her books.

Another entertaining installment in the series. Quick, fun, easy and enjoyable afternoon listen with a HEA.

If you don't like steamy romance in your story's this is not the book for you.

Being a teenager is hard to begin with, add in a new town, school, and the fact that in the near future you will experience your first shift. If that's not enough, on top of all that your mom is now dating the town sheriff.

Stuart's life is about to change. He has found his mate. He knew from the moment he first met her. Now he needs to convince Lila of this fact. Not only does he need to win over Lila but her teenage son as well.

David Quimby did a really good job with the narration as usual. Although I'm used to hearing him narrate westerns, his voice adds something extra to the story. Nice voice. Clearly spoken with a smooth even pace. Good character voices.

I feel in love with this author few years back

I feel in love with this author few years back. Everything I've read of hers is great but Ambrosia Lane has my heart! This story is about Ares and Morrigan two war gods. They've been friends for eons but could there be more? I hate giving away too much. If you have read any of the other Ambrosia Lane stories this one will not disappoint. If you haven't don't worry, these stories can stand alone but I would encourage you to read the rest as well. Saranna just has a way of pulling a reader into a story. Definitely worth the read!

Holy Aphrodite

So much fun. This is the third in the Desperate Housewives series and it was the best so far. The God of War and the Goddess of War are a match that was both sweet and frustrating to read. It was very cool to see how the Gods & Goddesses from the other stories are re-visted. Love the mythology that the author brings to these love storiei and they are funny as well. I can't wait to see who Aphrodite falls in love with. I hope it is Thor but then again Posideon deserves a HEA.

What a great read. Ares and Morrigan are such great characters. Their story was a by of a bumpy ride but well worth it. You will be chuckling out loud. A lot. And it's the perfect amount of scorching hot! I love this series and can't wait for the next. Even though the books are steamy and hilarious, they are very insightful. They make you think. Very profound. Loved it!

3rd Time's a Charm

the 3rd installment in the Ambrosia Lane series doesn't disappoint. Absolutely recommend if you're looking for something with a little romance, humor, suspense and lots of laughs. Saranna DeWylde quickly became one of my favorite authors after "Desperate Housewives of Olympus", the first in this series, and i eagerly await each new installment

Awesome story

This was a fantastic story. wow does this story pack a powerful storyline. It had me sitting at the end if my seat and bitting my lip! I couldn't stop

Noah is the alpha of a pack of wolf shifters (the dark moon pack) Someone is out to kill him and take his place.

Gwen lived thought a horrible attack and is now training to be a healer. In helping noah heal from injuries she is now in danger.

The interaction between noah and Gwen is so sweet! I loved it. What a great story on a subject most romance authors don't cover but it turned out beautiful.

This was a really odd yet interesting book. I enjoyed the raven and wolf shifters working together, however it was good to see a story, that had interesting terms for sexual organs. The book was great otherwise beside the weird terms for the parts. I highly enjoyed the book.

MICHELLES STORY....

This one is the best of this series so far, in my opinion it should have been Book 1 in the series.

This is all about Michelle's story, how she became a vampire, how she was treated by her master back then, everything she went through, and finally it answered the question me and so many have wondered, "What happened to her Master" This is one thrilling book, with tons of fighting, blood, and guts... a little more fighting than I normally like to read about, but it kept me glued to this book page after page.

Why four stars?

As far as the sex, it is still just rated X not an erotica XXX book...

Fewer typos in this one but still there were several.

And still the French words, loads of people talking in French, more so in this one because it is based in Paris.

I do not read or speak French....

And I must say this author sure likes his Blondes... so many blondes, men and women...

I DO RECOMMEND THIS BOOK, for adults only of course...

Book 3 of an intriguing Vampire series, and the best to date.

Whereas the first two books basically concentrated on Aaron and his adjustments due to becoming a Vampire, this book gave us some MUCH needed background on Michelle, his Vampire Master. Her character development had been sadly neglected until this book. Her years before becoming a Vampire and just after being turned took place during the time of the German invasion of France, giving the reader a glimpse into those violent years of Hitler's reign of terror.

Explicit sex and bloodthirsty Vampires makes for an interesting Paranormal series. It would be best to read these books in order. I'll probably continue with the series.

The Real Michelle

Having read the first two books in The Nightlife Series, both of which are definitely 5 stars, I found that The Nightlife: Paris was even more entertaining because of Michelle's backstory. We find out the trials and tribulations of the young, beautiful, Parisian woman who was brutally turned into a vampire by an unloving husband that should have cared for and protected her.

Great Short Story With No-Nonsense!

For a story under five hours, it was well thought out and executed. Ashley West opens by providing the foundation for the two main characters, and as the story progresses, each scene smoothly transitions into the next. Once the "back story" for the characters is revealed, we are introduced to what these characters have become. Atlas is one sexy alien "playboy!" The females were attracted to his charisma, and there was never a shortage of them willing to please him. He certainly had the "good" life.

Kat's character was confident, but her past has taught her true love doesn't exist, and there is no such thing as a soul mate. When she meets Atlas for the first time, there's a deep connection between them which she can't deny. After the first encounter, she finds herself thinking of Atlas, and I liked there was "no-nonsense" between them once they came together. There's no chasing, running, or drama, they both knew what they wanted. However, there were forces who wanted to keep these two apart. My only wish was for the story to be a little longer to develop the romance between these two characters, and really get you invested in them.

Chosen by the Alien, is the first story I've heard narrated by Rita Rush, and thought she did a great job! As the story progressed, the narration become more solid, and her performance really brought me into the story. I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Excellent Paranormal

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I loved this book. It had a little bit of everything you look for in a book. Adventure, suspense, thriller, and romance. Atlas is thinking he will never find his mate, but when he comes to Earth with his Princess, he comes across Katlyn who is, of course, his mate. The story is detailed enough to keep your interest and make you want to continue listening until the end. It was hard to stop listening even when I needed to go to bed.

Potential

This book had great potential. It had some really nice scenes. The only drawback was that they felt disconnected. The story didn't feel complete. Thankfully, I listened to the audio. And, I felt where the author lacked connecting the scene's together so that the reader didn't feel like they were missing chunks of the story, the narrator did an amazing job of pulling together continuity as much as she could. The narrator did a wonderful job and brought the characters and scenes to life.

This was a short story. And, though I think if the author had taken a bit more time with development and scene connection it would have been very good, it wasn't bad. And, I suspect she'll get better and better. I would recommend the audio to those interested in shifter stories because the narrator really gives the story life.

Not harsh but has an edge

3.5 stars. Nicely done world building. Iona is a compelling character who has a lot of elements to like - although there is the typical behavior that results in discipline. Not harsh (could have been harsher but that's my kink - more non con and harsh). It kept my interest all the way through - and I'd read more in this world. Understand that she loves what he does and it arouses her - so this is not really an "against your will" at the end of the day.

Sandra's View "Interesting"

The book had 2383 locations on my kindle. The book was about a girl named Iona and a man, named Xane. Iona was a feisty, rebellious, outspoken and opinionated virgin. Xane was a dominate tax collector, from the city of Chandros. The book contained lots of detailed, descriptive, sex, oral sex and anal sex, about half way thru. The book also contained a tiny bit of medical play, an enema, several spankings, with hands and other objects. The Xane character was ok. I did not like the Iona character. She was too indecisive for my tastes.

Actually rather offensive

I gave this book one star because you cannot give any less. The story is rather simplistic and the MH is a moron, never an attractive feature. Women falling for men who abuse them is also annoying. The spanking was not arousing or entertaining.

I loved the fantasy

Wow, I'm so impressed with the art of creativity of the story line of this book. Taking sexual fantasy and turning it into a romance story with taste and classiness! Thank you for the read! :)
