What was one of the most memorable moments of Knox?

When Knox is protecting his mate. I will not give anything away, but I really love it in a book when a hero gets all protective.

I love shifter romance and you obviously like it as well, or you would not be reading reviews of this spectacular book. I really loved this book. There is romance, and suspense as well. The book is very well written, and the story starts coming to life from the very beginning.

Jasmine is running from her ex-husband, and looking for a job. Her problem, she does not have any work experience outside running a home. She goes on an interview to be housekeeper for Knox and his clan. You see, Knox and his clan, well, they are slobs when it comes to the upkeep of their home, they realized this and have decided to hire a housekeeper. Jasmine arrives for her interview and knocks on the door. When the door open she sees the most handsome man she has ever seen, Knox.

Knox does not like the idea of a stranger going through their home, but realizes that something has to be done, the place really is turning into a pigsty. When he opens to door to the person coming to interview for the job Let us just say he changes his mind really quickly.

I am not going to give anything further away, but I will say I loved when Knox got all protective of Jasmine when her ex showed.

This is the second book in Ms. Fannings 120 Proof Honey series, and just as great as the first, Daxton. I look forward to more from this wonderful series in the future.

I was gifted with an audio copy of Knox by Meghan Kelly, the narrator. She definitely further brings this book to life with her performance.

Wow

I love this short story. It a quick loving little short story that grab your attention. I love the main characters. I love Bear shifters and this book was cute. Grab it today and read it, you won't be disappointed.

Was ok but te story line on this entire series seemed to move too quickly; at least for me.

Quirky characters make for a fun easy read.

Very sweet story, girl meets boy and instant attraction, they work through some obstacles on their way to one another. I like it, kept me interested and the characters were entertaining, you can't not like them. It's not one of those everything is perfect and nothing bad ever happens kind of books. I love her books.

Predictable

Yes, I don't see any time as lost when is spend with a book. In this case, this book is very predictable, a classic story of a girl who fall in love for a guy (vampire), and their love is almost impossible. So, the book is very predictable.although this does not take the listener's expectations about the story.The book presents a simple plot with a nice narrative. Despite having enjoyed the story, I would not recommend the book for people looking for stories with a more elaborate plot.

Nothing Original

Not very original. Vampire teenager (at least on appearance) met a girl, thought she looked like his old flame, and saved her from another vampire. She found him intriguing and kept trying to meet him. The vampire family only drink from blood donations. He finally agreed to meet her at her place to talk but only outside the room since he cannot enter the house unless invited so thus will keep her safe from him. Found out she is related to his old flame. Has a vampire governing body. Sounds familiar anyone?

Loved the story, waiting for the next one

Narration was automated sounding and distracting but enjoyed the story enough to look past it.

Funny Story

This was a delightful surprise provided via audiobook boom. I enjoyed this story of Santa intervening to get Jack Frost daughter married to a long time friend of Santa's son Nic. The makeover of the living quarters started out as a surprise for Mrs. Clause but the end result was a sweet HEA. No sex or strong language but a great story. So if you want to listen to a quick love story that has lots of fun and twist then this is a good one to listen to.

Sweet Christmas romance

I loved listening to this sweet sassy story. For just about the entire time I was smiling. Carly Robins did a wonderful job of narrating this story. Between the 2 of these ladies they did a wonderful job and really know how to bring a christmasy love story to life. The antics of the elves and of Mr. and Mrs. Clause just made the story so much more lovable.

What better way to kick off December than a holiday audiobook!!! Caroline Mickelson is a storytelling wonder when it comes to feel good romantic comedies. She does a great job of developing characters and feeding the story to the reader in bits...leaving them wondering and wanting more. She develops characters in a way that makes the reader care about the outcome. This audiobook is perfect to listen to while shopping or wrapping presents or any other holiday task.

This was a short ,sweet fun story.Carly Robins narrated it nicely. When Santa calls his friend,an interior decorator,she runs right away to help him with a gift for Mrs Claus. The Fixer Uppers of the North Pole

THE CHRISTMAS MAKEOVER was a cute cozy Christmas story. While Jackie Frost and Dean Bradshaw were thrown together by Santa under the guise of redecorating for Mrs. Claus, I think maybe Santa and Mrs. Claus and the elves were really trying to fix up Jackie and Dean. This was a relaxing, easy, and fun story written by Caroline Mickelson. It was a good listen to get into the Christmas spirit. You can't go wrong here.

I thought Carly Robins' narration was wonderful. She has a nice, warm voice and is also a talented reader. She made a good story even better with her fluid vocal skills.

The laughs keep coming

Bear-Some With Twins!

I really enjoyed Amy Star's The Bear's Hired Mate; however, I didn't think Her Bear Twins was on the same level. While this was a complete story, and had a decent plot, parts of the story felt underdeveloped. If story was more developed and slightly longer, it would have been great story.

Meghan Kelly did a great job on the narrations.

I give the story an overall 3.5 stars. Three stars for me means the story was ok and I added a half star for the narration.

Failed to keep my attention

What would have made Her Bear Twins better?

There was a way it was written with too many descriptive words and run on sentences that did not keep my attention. If I was reading the actual book and not just listening I would have skimmed over these spots.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I feel like the ending was rushed but that's the problem with short stories sometimes.

How could the performance have been better?

I don't know if it was when they had to add parts or when they went back to fix parts but at times I felt like the narrator was quieter and I had to turn it way up then it would go back to normal. I checked my headphone connection and it definitely wasn't that. I also had to turn up the speed because the narrator read way to slow and soft spoken that my mind would wander and I wouldn't be listening.

This story has great potential and it is a great idea but I think too much was built up for a short story that it could have been longer and not rushed at the ending.

Cute short story

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I enjoyed this short story. Amy Star put suspense, thrill, and romance in a short story. It was not a deep story, but enjoyable. The characters were well developed. I was wondering how she was going to end the story with a three-way relationship. I thought it was a complete story. Overall, it was an enjoyable listen. After all, that is what fantasy is all about.

I was given this book in return for my unbiased opinion. I honestly thought it was a pretty good story. I am Amy Star fan so it had some hotness to it which I LOVE and a little story to it..I wasn't so intersted in the Elder's Cave but we need some drama and so that was right smack in the center of the drama. I would recommend this quick read, it has sex, shifters and drama, oh and great narration.

Nightshade ~ A Dark and Dangerous Universe!

Nightshade universe painted a vivid story about a dark and dangerous world created by Evelyn Ledgerman that both fascinated and appalled me, but I devoured every minute of it! With each macabre scene, I was pulled in deeper to a world where showing weakness could get you killed. While this universe got my attention, it was the character's Afton, and Lorenz that kept me listening to this story almost non-stop.

After a long search, Afton's father was able to locate her on earth, and had her brought back to the Nightshade universe to fulfill a contract that was formed years ago. To complete this contact, she must join with Lorenz, a very powerful vampire. Her first encounter with her father showed her just how terrifying, and brutal vampires actually are. Because she is half-vampire, he forces her to drink blood directly from the humans, which makes her sick and weak. When Afton learns she's to join with another vampire, she is actually a little relieved knowing she will be leaving her father's hive.

Lorenz is not happy when he hears Afton has been returned to Nightshade universe, and does not look forward to joining with a half-ling. After spending weeks avoiding the inevitable, he finally makes it to the hive to uphold his end of the contract. As soon as he lays eyes on Afton, he's drawn to her, and knows what she will become after they "join." In the beginning, their relationship and romance came across as awkward, but as the story progressed, these scenes become more natural.

Unfortunately, Afton's half-human side puts her in a lot of danger. When evil forces and Malice come for her, Lorenz will stop at nothing to keep her safe, and will make alliances and ruthless bargains, but Afton is tired of being a victim.

David Brenin's performance was great! The characters were easily identifiable, and he portrayed the different emotions throughout the story.

Different take on Vampires

This audio book was given to me free for an unbiased review. I really had no idea what I was getting into when I asked for this book. Evelyn does a great job of keeping your attention. I couldn't put it down until I completed it. The book starts out with a young sickly college girl and ends with a voluptuous, beautiful strong woman. She is an equal to a different kind of vampire than most you read about.

Fun sequel to "Pandora's Box"

This series is not your typical vampire/werewolf paranormal romance series. This is something completely different (at least to me) and I enjoyed it for it's freshness, fun characters, and snappy writing.

This book picks up right where "Pandora's Box" (book 1 in the series) leaves off. The dialogue between Janelle and Kane is hilarious and the tension between the two is palpable. The story moves along at a quick pace and by the time you are finished you are ready to find out what happens with the next pair of characters.

While you definitely can read this without having read the first book, I personally think they are better read in order. If there is any chance you might want to go back and read Mina and Riordan's story, then better to do it before reading this book, because part of what made "Pandora's Box" so much fun for me was a "surprise" in the story which won't be a surprise any longer if you read this book first.

If you've already read "Pandora's Box" and enjoyed it, you won't be disappointed with this book.

Best series ever

This series is filled with laughs, danger, sex etc... I really liked all of Natale Stenzel's books. Get them you won't be disappointed.

Decent Listen

This was a decent book. Kane sounds sexy and attractive but I think I like Riordin (from book 1) just a bit better. Overall, it was entertaining and the series has made me curious about the history of the Druids and Pucas. Some aspects may be a bit predictable, as is with many love stories, but if you're into that sort of thing then it doesn't matter.

The narrator was able to convey the passion, concern, and other emotions pretty well. I could feel the draw between characters. There was a good variety of voices and they were pretty accurate. The annoying type characters sounded VERY annoying. The snobby or scary or arrogant ones sounded that way. Some scenes were more drawn out than I preferred. I know it's the details that make the book but I found myself saying get to the point already, but again that's a preference thing.

Good concept, needed to be shorter

I wanted to like this book but if I hadn't paid only $3.95 for it, I might have returned it. One of the drawbacks of listening vs. reading is you can't skip over the repetitive parts ... like all the back and forth about the protagonist's agonizing over her ethical choices. I get it, she's got morals and is finding it hard to decide the right thing to do but for 15 minutes? Or the part where she decides again to do something really dangerous after other characters blocked her from doing it before and she agreed they were right. That made her too Mary Sue for me. Maybe I am burned out on romance ... but I need more action, as in more rapid plot advancement.
