A big congrats to Xander Boyce, author of Advent: Red Mage, his audiobook was listed on Audible as one of the Listener Favorites for Jan 2019. It doesn’t hurt that it’s a great story with Luke Daniels narrating.

Shermer Kuznits recently announced on his Facebook page that he’s putting the Life Reset series aside for now and working on a new project Earth Force.

I'm currently working on a new gameLit sci-fi series (not Life Reset).

Update from MSE on Amazon thing.

Update time.

Lawyers have communicated with Amazon. They've asked me to show them all my advertising stuff and places where I've promoted my books. My lawyers have asked them to give us details about the specific reasons they banned me (AKA evidence I was doing anything wrong), since they didn't bring any to the meeting.

Our next meeting is Feb 14th. Fingers crossed it goes well. Thanks for hanging in there.

Charles Dean released some artwork that he had made for the character Jade, from his War Aeternus series. It looks really good, though the anatomy looks a little off, I’m definitely a fan of the blood created weapon and those high heels. I just thought her hair would be a more striking shade of blue.

Matt Dinniman has updated the cover art for the 1st book in the Dominion of Blades series. The new art is a bit more action oriented and fits the cover art that the rest of the series ended up using a bit more. Personally, I always liked the ambiguity of the cover art Matt made originally.

Hello everyone, welcome to episode 147 of the LitRPG podcast. For the full show notes visit us at: https://litrpgpodcast.com/litrpg-podcast-147

I’m Ramon Mejia. I’m here to bring you the latest LitRPG news, reviews, and author interviews.

Today I have the pleasure of talking to Charles Dean, author of such amazing LitRPG series as:

The Bathrobe Knight (https://amzn.to/2CeZt7D ),

Merchant of Tiqpa (https://amzn.to/2Bkpn8j ),

and War Aeternus (https://amzn.to/2QAwnIS ).

Now Charles and I have been friends for a while. He and I first started talking when I made a error with the name of one of his series in the review I gave it on the LitRPG Podcast recommendation page. I called it the Bathroom Knight, and he e-mailed me and pointed out that while a story about a a plumber who fought evil would be great, the series was called the Bathrobe Knight. We’ve been friends ever since.

Charles is hands down not only one of the saltiest guys I know, he’s also one of the kindest human beings I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. He’s gone out of his way to help me personally become a better writer by beta reading with brutal honesty and even extended writing resources to me.

As a writer, he’s one of the best in the community, and people love his LitRPG stuff, everything he’s published has an average review score of no less than 4 stars and often it’s closer to 5:

Jessie: “As I sit here writing this review in my own bathrobe, I must smile. This is a good read. “

Mike Garrett: “My biggest disappointment was the lack of available sequel.”

D. Miller: “All hail the Augustus, God of Alcohol and Bacon!”

David: Absolutely loved the Merchant of Tiqpa”

So, thank you so much for being on the podcast man!!
