I know that we've been made fortunate to be able to go on a foreign holiday two years on the trot (although that is for the first time ever) but there was a massive difference between last years holidays and this years because in between we got Josh's autism and ADHD diagnosis. So in tis episode I'm going to share some of the lessons that I've learnt between those 2 holidays because even though they were only a year apart, the difference between them was massive.
"Mothers don't break but mothers are broken right now" is a quote from the CEO of Girls Who Code that inspired this whole episode!

It's why I'm so passionate about self care and taking time out for yourself because it actually makes you a better mum in the long run.
First and foremost, there's a few swears right at the beginning of this episode as I tell you all about my bad day and the 2 ways I would have previously dealt with it. In this episode I explain the 3rd way I've discovered of dealing with bad days that might just help you too.

Self care isn't a luxury but a necessity.
In this first episode I'm going to take you back to the beginning of the pandemic when I thought self care was massages and spa days and ask you what you can say yes to without barriers or challenges holding you back!
