October 07, 2018 A Hamster Named Bobo: An Adoption Story for Kids
Our story today is about a tiny person joining a family as a toddler instead of as a newborn baby, in a foster care or adoption situation. Thank you to the family of tiny people that inspired this story: REID, NOLYN, MILES, BLAIRE, and MASON.
Today’s episode features wonderful SOUND EFFECTS from listeners GRACE, EVRYN, NORA, LUKE, BRIANNA, GLORIA, ALAINA, and SAGE. You can send me your very own sound effect. Just use the voice memo app on your phone, record your Tiny People making a (recognizable) sound, and email it to [email protected]! They might just hear their sound in a future story.

September 23, 2018 The Acorn: A Friendship Story for Kids
Our story today is about a squirrel. Yes, another squirrel story. My equine guests are not exactly thrilled about that. The Acorn is a story about mistaken impressions and developing trust with new friends. And it’s also just fun. ENJOY!
Today’s episode features wonderful SOUND EFFECTS from listeners Lily, Violet, and Serena. You can send me your very own sound effect. August 12, 2018 BONUS - Kids Listen Summer Roadtrip Mixtape
BONUS EPISODE! I’ve teamed up with several fellow members of Kids Listen, a grassroots organization that advocates for high-quality audio for kids, to bring you this special road trip mixtape episode. I’m still collecting sound effects! Some that would fit into upcoming stories: birds tweeting, cheers from a crowd (yay! woohoo!), dog barks, slurping from a straw, squeaks (from a hamster), giggles and laughter. You can be creative too! Record your sound effects using the voice memo app on your phone and send them to [email protected].

June 10, 2018 Message to Fans: Sound Effects Library and Updates
Hello wonderful listeners! There are some cool things happening at LSFTP!
Here’s a quick summary for your convenience:
- The “enchanting merchandise” I mention in this message refers to Little Hedgehog t-shirts, which are available now! Go to the new ‘Shop’ tab at http://www.littlestoriestinypeople.com or you can head over to my Threadless store at http://littlestoriestinypeople.threadless.com to choose from two adorable designs.
I need YOUR HELP to create a “Sound Effects Library”. Just use your voice memo app to record your tiny person making some kind of (recognizable) sound. I will start using these sounds in stories as much as I can! Email them to [email protected]
I will be taking the summer off from making new episodes so I can write more stories for all of you! I will also be finishing up my first picture book. YAY!
