This episode is a re-broadcast of the "Habits You Love" podcast with Kayla Fassio which I was a guest on. This episode was initially published in July. Thank you, Kayla.
In this episode, I sit down with Zach Rance, personal growth coach, two-time ironman, and author of Live Better Now - which is also a podcast!
After being on season 16 of Big Brother, fame and everything that came with it took a toll on his life. He was engaging in self-sabotaging behavior, sleeping in, and thinking the money would stop coming from his appearances and paid posts.
Until it did.
And he woke up one morning and knew something had to change.
See how he went from fame to living at home with his parents, to now coaching high-income earners to start with their habits to ultimately change their health - physically and mentally.

Hisam Goueli from this season of the CBS show Big Brother is my guest today. Hisam didn't last too long in the house, but definitely left a strong impression in a short amount of time having won 3 competitions in the first two weeks, Head of Household and two Veto competitions.
Like with past Big Brother guests I've had the opportunity to have on the podcast, I wanted to focus our chat around mental health, before entering the house, while in the house, and how they are dealing with the notoriety and trappings of reality TV fame after the show. It was great to meet Hisam! Enjoy the episode.

I'm putting all my cards on the table. As is the case with most people I struggle with having constant states of joy. Happiness is something we all strive to have in our lives but happiness is a fleeting fluctuating emotion. We set goals. We work hard toward those goals and achieve what we intended, and achieving those goals brings us a certain amount of happiness and satisfaction, but it's short-lived. After a while, once the moment fades we seem to fall back to a position where it feels like something is missing. So we look for something else to bring us joy and happiness. Maybe it's thinking about something you have planned for the future, or maybe you reflect on something that's already happened in the past that you latch onto to bring you some happiness. Maybe it's setting more goals thinking once we achieve them, It'll bring us happiness. So feeling constant happiness is a chase. For me, a lot of my happiness and my defense from feeling depressed, sad, or anxious has been daily exercise. Daily exercise has so many benefits. Not only does it increase your energy levels, and makes you feel good. It also can boost your confidence. So this episode is about happiness and the constant
