  • #142 - The Secret Sauce of Content Posting Frequency

In my role as creative director, coach, and mentor in our content marketing agency, I know this to be true... no two clients are exactly the same. Their viewpoints, their goals, their perspectives, their missions are individual. All, however, see the benefit of making sure to use the opportunities of communication through online means to extend their reach and grow their businesses.

With that said, working behind the scenes for our clients, my team and I implement their strategies. And wouldn't you know it? Even though many of the tools and systems are similar, their strategies differ.

That gives me the opportunity to learn firsthand what frequency of posting content is ideal.

Should you be posting your core piece of content (blog, podcast, or video) once a month, twice a month, every week, daily?

In this episode I share the top three considerations you must explore and decide on to make the ideal content posting frequency work.

  • #141 - Healthy Living Made Simple with Dr. Lisa Olszewski

The new year has kicked off and one of the most popular resolutions revolves around living a healthier life. Whether it's starting a new diet, vowing to eat more leafy greens, or getting to the gym more often to get in shape, most of us have great intentions to make this year's health resolutions stick.

We start with enthusiasm, then after a few weeks, those old habits creep their way back into our routine.

Why would a show about creating a lifestyle business be talking about health?

Maintaining the best health we can is beneficial for anyone to live a full and vibrant life whether you're growing a lifestyle business or not. I'm no health expert and I'm like most of the population. I struggle with maintaining a healthy lifestyle. All the healthy living information out there is so confusing and overwhelming.

That's why I asked my friend, Dr. Lisa Olszewski, to this week's show. She keeps it real and helps break down all the clutter when it comes to health so you can focus on what really matters.

Dr. Olszewski is a chiropractor, naturopath and keto nutrition fanatic. When she's not adjusting spines in her chiropractic office, she's passionately making healthy living simple through her online courses, virtual summits and one on one coaching so everyone can achieve a vibrant level of health. She recently made history in the state of Michigan by becoming the first female President of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors.

Meet Dr. Lisa as she shares some practical ways to keep steadfast to your healthy living resolutions.

What is your game-plan for 2021?

Most certainly 2020 was interesting. It was an exceedingly difficult time for many. For others, it was a time of growth and discovery. Undoubtedly, all the changes and health concerns had all of us pushed out of our comfort zones.

Although things don't magically change when the new year rings in. Of course, the effects of the pandemic didn't magically disappear when the ball dropped on 2020.

Like most, I spent a lot reflection time in December and made plans. Now, it's now time for action!

How are you taking action on your 2021 plans? Results won't come without action.

  • #139 - Build Live Give with Paul Higgins

High-performance business mentor, podcaster, and author, Paul Higgins to joins me for today's episode.

I met Paul through LinkedIn. You know how sometimes you'll get these weird connection requests and then when you accept them, you seem to get spammed with hard core sales messaging? It makes you a little leery in accepting connections out of the blue.

Paul reached out to me through an email and also asked for a LinkedIn connection. I was intrigued because they were messages like none other. His message was personal and relevant. Not canned. Not salesy. His interest was to broaden his network in a genuine manner.

I soon started following Paul and getting to know him through his podcast. I feel like I've gotten to know him without even meeting him. I was super excited when he agreed to be a guest on my show.

Paul helps service-based business owners struggling to strike a balance between life and work adopt a hands-off management approach and improve profits to fund their lifestyles.

To aid other service-based business owners like himself who have come to the conclusion that having a business so reliant on them is just not going to work, Paul developed a mentoring program — Build Live Give — that helps such business owners take control and implement an end-to-end sales and operations system that can easily generate profits.

    Enjoy!

  • #138 - 5 Details to Check Before Ringing in the New Year

Before ringing in the new year, it's a good idea to check a few systems that you already have in place in areas where we tend to "set it and forget it." Sometimes these little forgotten details either no longer work or need updated.

In this episode, I share 5 details you should quickly check:

    1. Voice Message 2. Email Settings on All Devices 3. Social Profiles (Bios, Cover Images, Links, etc.) 4. Lead Magnet 5. Matrix Tracking Number/Process

This year had resulted with many pivots and changes for many of us. By checking these details, you'll make sure that your current systems are still accurate with your overall goal and vision.

  • #136 - Not All Who Wander are Lost

Life's an Adventure Waiting to be Discovered

Nine years ago, when my husband, Robert, and I downsized by having a huge garage sale and moved into our 38-foot motor home, I think that's when we decided that life is an adventure, and we were ready to discover it.

We started our new identity by pursuing our work from anywhere lifestyle. We've made a lot of discoveries along the way. Discoveries about the practical side of working from anywhere and discoveries about ourselves in how to design the lifestyle we truly want.

Recently, Robert and I have made some big decisions and changes when it comes to our travel adventures. Those changes spill into making important business decisions.

Listen and learn what changes are percolating...both personally and professionally.

In your adventure...remember not all who wander are lost. You may feel a bit lost from time to time. Outsiders may think you have no direction. Every experience you have, every plan you try, every idea you explore is one step closer to fulfilling your dream lifestyle.

Your dream lifestyle may be a different picture than mine. And that is fantastic!

I'd love to hear from you about the picture of your dream lifestyle. Has it changed over the years? What is your biggest challenge? What's your biggest reward?

  • #134 - One Word: Gratitude

The season of Thanksgiving has us thinking about what we are grateful for.

Practicing gratitude is a good idea any time of the year. The more you practice it, the better you feel, and the likelihood of better things come your way.

I take it for granted that I'm naturally a person who appreciates many things and tries to find the good in any situation. Sometimes I forget that not everyone thinks like I do and struggle in seeing the positives even when things are rough or not turning out as planned.

This holiday season, even during the weirdness of 2020, I feel there's a lot to be grateful for.

In this episode, I share how appreciating big and small things even during the roller coaster year of 2020 allows us to come out on the other side better people and have grown from the experience.

    Enjoy!
