Continuing from the last episode about living a healthy life based on the Natural Hygiene perspective, let's go over a few simple things you can think about if you are looking to clean up your diet and start feeling better in your body.

1. First, we'll talk about the SOS-free diet, which originated from the Natural Hygiene movement.  What is it all about?  What food substances should you look to minimize or avoid altogether?
2. Then we'll go over some very simple practices you can implement in your life that might help you feel better, especially if you struggle with any sort of digestive disturbances.  
3. Natural Hygienists had very simple things to consider about food, when you eat, how you eat, and the combination of foods that you ingest at the same time.  Paying attention to what the body is communicating can make a world of difference in your overall health.

The whole food plant-based diet is all the buzz today.  However, there were many pioneers from a couple hundred years ago working to educate the public on diet and lifestyle.  Today let's look at the Natural Hygiene movement and its impact on what we see now.  Dr. Herbert Shelton authored over 40 books and spent his life helping others get well.  He lectured extensively on the topic of natural health.

We'll talk about the history and the founders of Natural Hygiene, specifically looking at Dr. Shelton's work.  Then, let's define hygiene from this perspective and see what they are really talking about.  What are the elements that make up this system?

Then we'll look at the two main causes of disease from the Hygienists point of view, as well as how to get well and stay well.  With more and more people contracting chronic and degenerative disease, it is vital to learn more about what the body is capable of digesting, utilizing, and eliminating from the body.

Creating boundaries in your life might be necessary when you come up against a difficult situation.  It's easy to set a boundary wanting to completely disconnect from others, to never speak to them again, or feel that you can't allow yourself to be around people that are different than you are.

Today let's look at the ego's idea of boundaries and spirit's perspective on boundaries.

1. Frist, we'll define how the world views weakness versus strength because these are very different than the loving and compassionate side of the mind.  
2. Then, in order to keep yourself connected to spirit and create boundaries; you must first look at what you are currently doing.  What side of the mind are you operating from?
3. Next, after you identify where you are, take some time to just watch yourself in life.  Relax and let go, not trying to change or judge anything about the way you behave.  Observe your mind and how quick you might jump into a reactionary state of being. 
4. Finally, we'll end the show reframing the concept of what a boundary can be and how to implement it into your life.

Continuing the discussion from last week's episode about time, whether it's real or not, let's look a little deeper into the possibilities that might exist.  This is designed to get you thinking outside of the box, to question, and use critical thinking instead of simply repeating everything we are told. 

If we are truly living the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth over and over again, then how do we break the cycle?  How do we exit this pattern and return Home?  Is it even possible to do so?

Using A Course in Miracles, because it is one of the only spiritual teachings that has a very different perspective about what this world is, let's look at a few different topics to see if exiting this pattern of reincarnation is an option.

1. First, let's look at the term "oneness" and apply it to what the Course's definition of this is, as opposed to the majority of mainstream modern day spiritual teachings.  
2. Then, we'll look at what the Course refers to as the "error," or the belief in separation and the ego's thought system of the world.  
3. Next, a brief discussion on what A Course in Miracles refers to as the "authority problem," as well as using forgiveness as true means of healing the mind.  
4. Finally, we'll end today's show with a few easy tools and practical ways to implement these concepts so you can start living a happy dream instead of chaotic miserable one.

Our lives are dictated by the clock.  From the moment we get up in the morning, until the second we go to bed, the clock is ticking, and we seem to be racing against time.

Today let's look at this concept of time.  Going through awakening will bring you to this very fundamental aspect of our world, is time relevant?  Is it real or is it illusory?  It's important to look at this question from the eyes of the ego, and from the perspective of our spiritual nature to understand the conflict within the mind.

1. First, we'll talk about waking up from time, then let's look at symbolism in the world that reiterates and reemphasizes time such as cycles, seasons, and calendars.  
2. Next, does reincarnation keep the concept of time alive and well, or does it eventually lead us to revelation within?
3. Lastly, the famous fable by Hans Christian Anderson, "The Emperor's New Clothes," shines a light on the obvious things in life that most people are too afraid to admit.  Can we look at time in this way?  Is it so blatantly obvious that we are spinning around in circles, chasing our own tails going nowhere?  Or are we actually moving into a new place, a new direction, or making progress?

Looking back on all the episodes this past year of 2023, let's spend today looking at what this show embodies, which is the practical applications of spiritual awakening.

One question to repeatedly ask yourself is, "Am I accepting or arguing with reality?"  To answer this let's determine which side of the mind is answering this question, the ego mind or the spiritual side.

Join me today as we discuss The Grape Cure written by Johanna Brandt in 1928.  This courageous South African woman reports her miraculous recovery from a long battle with stomach cancer.  She includes other case studies from terminally ill patients as well.  

Continuing from last episodes discussion on detoxifying the body naturally, this testimony supports the theory that nature heals.  As the New Year approaches, and you find yourself drawn to cleansing your body, using grapes as a facilitator may prove to be beneficial.  

1. First, we'll go over Johanna Brandt's life, her illness, and her discovery of the power of grapes.  
2. Then let's focus on the grape itself and what it is actually doing inside the body.
3.   Next, we will examine the methodology she used and the stages she implemented to return to a regular diet, as well as her personal theories on cancer.  Considering she battled her own cancer and witnessed others on their death bed return to health, Brandt certainly had a personal understanding of how cancer develops.
4. Lastly, let's address her opinion about grapes curing disease from the perspective of faith versus nature.  She had a few things to say about this topic, so tune in to hear more!
