Mini MAVO2020, the online conference that I organize and host was this past weekend!! It turned out really great and I've had tons of positive feedback about it. So I thought it would be a good idea to do a recap show to highlight all of the sessions and say thank you to all of our sponsors and supporters. Also, if you missed the event, it will eventually be available to rewatch on ReAttendance, more details on that coming soon.

In about 2012, I attended my first VO conference in Toronto. I decided to attend after I had a coaching intensive with superstar puppeteer & actor John Tartaglia in NYC. Long story short, I wanted to see if I could pursue my dream of being on “Sesame Street” -and I thought John could possibly help. It was a great session, but about an hour into it, I realized that puppeteering is a skillset that takes a lot of time and training and that it might already be too late in my life to learn and master it. So, John suggested that I stick to VO and referred me to Sunday Muse – who just happens to be my special guest today!! I had the chance to meet Sunday at that first VO conference I ever attended in Toronto because she was a guest speaker! Shortly after that, I took some animation VO coaching sessions with her and the rest is history!!

Sunday Muse is the Founder/Creative Manager & Inspiratrice of Great Big Voices. She excels in helping people manifest their dreams into reality and communicate authentically to the world. Radio and music were in his blood from the very beginning.  Being on stage and behind the mic felt as natural as breathing.  He cut his on-air personality teeth on radio stations in Pennsylvania, Houston, Tx and Central NJ. He also gained experience in copywriting and commercial production, working with radio clients to ensure their ads hit the professional mark. In New Jersey he hosted, wrote and produced a syndicated film review radio program called All That Glitters that aired on WCTC and Magic 98.3.

Jim’s VoiceOver credentials run the gamut from audiobooks, both fiction and non-fiction, to E-Learning Modules, Corporate Explainer videos, radio promos and phone messaging systems.
