  • Vulnerability vs Armor for No Limits with Brian Bogert
Today We Discuss Ways  To Acquire Your Own NO Limits Mindset:
There is a sleeping giant in every human. Brian’s purpose in life is to awaken those giants within and turn them into legends by helping them grab what they believe is just out of their grasp. Brian is a heart surgeon without a blade. He does not start outside with what you need to DO, he starts inside with who you ARE. In a world that is disconnected, Brian is revolutionizing how individuals, leaders, and entrepreneurs deeply connect with their authentic selves to achieve the best version of themselves. As a human behavior and performance coach, speaker, and business strategist, Brian disrupts the normative approach on how to create sustainable growth and lasting change personally and professionally. His philosophies on “how to embrace pain to avoid suffering,” “people before profits,” and “who before what” has helped individuals and companies discover and activate their limitless potential. Brian and his team lead with intentionality as they are driven by their vision to impact a billion lives by 2045.

      00:30 - Introduction
11:40 - Seven years ago, almost to the date, is when I founded the company. Brian Bogert companies, if you will, which was just coaching and speaking at the time, there were no courses, there weren't group coaching, there wasn't any of these other ancillary businesses that are supporting our mission. But five years, I ran it side by side with another business. So I was in the risk management world and benefits consulting business for about 15 years, the last 10, of which my partners and I scaled the business from nothing to over 15 million in revenue in that period. It was great, and it was fun, but so much of that didn't align with who I was and who I was becoming.
20:00 - You are gonna burn out , I'm going to burn out my body, the body will fail. So we're sitting there holding it and we may start out thinking we're really strong and it's good, right? Yeah, but then the burning starts to happen, then the weight happens. Those weights get heavier and heavier and heavier, guess what, our armor is the same way. We put it there thinking it's protecting us. But it actually gets heavier, the longer we carry it and it starts to incrementally crush us over time. So that's the second thing that armor does to us, physically, emotionally, and mentally.
30:00 - I find myself being able to connect even deeper, the more I continue to evolve myself, there is no final destination only constant evolution itself. So what I can absolutely definitively say is that there was a massive shift, probably two years into my coaching business, because that's around the time that I really started to understand emotion a lot deeper.
39:00 -So the aha moment was probably six to seven years ago. My daughter was young. We were playing, we were laughing sounds and we lay down on the couch, and she wraps her arm around my neck, and she kisses me on the cheek. She says, I love you dada. I then broke down in tears of joy and I am not somebody that cries, but it's because I conditioned it out of myself. I want to be really clear, men who have the ability to cry and can express emotion, I think, is one of the most powerful moving things to be apart of. It's nothing that I believe carries any shame. It's just not how I have learned to feel emotion. But what's cool is I'm starting to learn how to feel that in that way, but when I felt joy that way, I realized I had never experienced joy to that capacity before.

Our Final Words of the Show:
We're on a mission to impact a billion lives as quickly as possible. And for us, that means by reducing the level of suffering that exists on this planet, and that happened through a whole bunch of different vehicles. If anything resonated with you, and you decide to follow on social or jumped in, if you follow on social, Brian Bogert on any channel, truly, legitimately, I don't care about the vanity metrics. But if something moves you, I just asked you to move through the world. If you're sitting next to somebody, you're like, Oh, this is cool.
But if that's not something that you want to do, don't feel pressure, but show it to somebody next to you. What I've known through all this time is that move people move people. And so I'm asking as many people to move others and move themselves so that we can have a collective impact as quickly as possible. The other thing that they could do, if they're interested in there, that five to 10%, we do have a free course. And it's something that we put a lot of time energy and effort into No Limits prelude.com I don't think it I don't think there is access on either one of those ones directly. Okay. I understand the marketing flaw and a whole lot of that. But here's why I say this. The reason we distribute it, we publish it out, and the way that we do is I want to give full disclosure so that you understand what you're getting, you get over 30 minutes of video content, the first chapter of our course, which let you begin with the end in mind. And here's the deal. Yep, I get your email in exchange for it. Yep, you're gonna get some emails through the process of doing it. And yep, you're gonna get four emails from us after your complete, to outline other opportunities to help you on your journey, whether it's with us or not. So this is completely free. And I want to let you know all those expectations because this is not about getting you into a forever funnel and spamming you in perpetuity, just to figure out where and how we can move you so you can move others, but this is this is something that will add value into your lives. And I just hope that something we've said today moved something inside of each one and everyone knew.

        00:30 - Introduction
09:25 - I know a lot of people overthink it, and then because they overthink it, they end up really stalled with paralysis by analysis. So I've got to do this, go do that, I haven't got time for this. I'm gonna, you know, start next month and I think that's it is very simple and the thing that I think people want to do before anything, and I've been doing it since I was a junior bodybuilder, sort of 16-17 years old and I've been I'm 52 now. So I've been doing it for all my life pretty consistently, I'm a little bit of an anomaly. But I think for the average person that hasn't done that consistently for years and years and years, then really, the most important thing that you need to focus on is creating a habit, where you're gonna fit some kind of activity, or movement into your life. I've not actually met any people that have not been able to create a habit of cleaning their teeth, at least in the morning, and when they get up and before they go to bed in an evening.
20:30 - For whatever reason, everybody is obsessed, relationships break down for it, everything is really driven about people's desire for money, what they think money is going to give them.
31:00 - We've got a pretty decent process and we're predominantly business to business. So we work with a lot of gyms trainers, we we have a small part which is direct to consumer, but predominantly, it's going into clubs. Most of that gives us the ability to plan out a little bit further than people who kind of want to just purchase things immediately.
35:00 - I never thought I'd ever get into unofficially designing my own space. I mean, to be fair, actually, I love the fact you guys actually do design services, which is super cool.
40:00 - You got yoga combined with spinning, boxing, etc. So you got to think of how you're going to really differentiate yourself. There's a lot of ways that you can do that, obviously. But a lot of people react to the simple things, I used to be a boxer, and I like boxing, and I know some friends do too, etc. So I'm going to open a boxing gym but then what.
        48:22 - Final Words Shown Below…

Our Final Words of the Show:
I'll just remind them of what I said at the beginning. I suppose you think that there'll be a time where you'll figure out how to make health and fitness important in your life. I've interviewed probably two or three-hundred very successful people in all areas, not just fitness, but in many different areas in business and I think consistently the one thing that that really separates those from anyone else is just finding where that fits into your life. But putting it before everything else in your hierarchy of things to do,  stick fitness at the top. I think if you can make that a habit then you'll find that dealing with all the other stuff that life throws at you on a regular basis including preventing yourself from getting totally destroyed from whatever pandemic happens and everything else that is out there, you won't go far wrong.

              00:30 - Introduction
09:00 - You've got to understand that there's more freedom in skydiving, despite the dangers, despite what you might think of it, then there is actually been. I would say someone with a death wish, if we had a death wish we wouldn't wear gear. So at the end of the day, I tell people that it's more dangerous to drive a car down the road than it is to jump out of an airplane. I have literally two parachutes in my system for a reason, because I enjoy my life. I'm going to the fullest possible edges of my limitations myself and want to see how far I can really stretch beyond that. So that's why I do it.
20:00 - As I got older, I totally knew this is not where I really want to go, I didn't feel fulfilled in the sport. The world of bull riding came knocking through contacts that I had made. It enticed me and it pulled me in and I found a new side of me being ignited that I had been waiting to meet all along. That's where I realized that I was yielding to the fears of the unknown that bull riding was providing me. That turned me on to the idea and understanding that the only way you're really going to stretch who you are, and see what you're truly capable of, is when you're putting yourself in the most uncomfortable positions. They must challenge you and radically stretch what your thinking is, what your feeling is, and what you expect to be showing up for you. That's where you go beyond your limits.
31:00 - In my life experiences those intense life experiences, I discovered my own unique superpower, if you will, to expose those blind spots and to erupt that stress. It's just a an aspect of my fabric of being who I am, when I'm grounded, and in the presence of someone, they cannot hold on to the stresses that are underlying in and underneath the surface. So it just starts to naturally come up and what I'm able to do with that is I'm able to poke at those and point at them and battle them head on with the people that I'm working with, so that we can actually eradicate them. Because the idea that our past life experiences, you're right, you can't do anything about having them. However, you can, in fact, resolve the negative impact and stress that those experiences provided you.
40:00 - Your mind believes that some, by pulling away from this podcast, that the people that are following you and listening to you somehow are going to have their own reaction to that and it's going to be negative and something's not going to be right, and people are going to be mad at you. There's going to be this feeling of like I'm not fulfilling, what I say I'm going to fulfill in reality is that people in fact, need time to absorb so much information that you probably have provided them.
52:00 - Oh, my goodness, you said a couple of things that I want to I really touch on. You're right, the dynamic between you and your wife had a massive impact on your ability to succeed to the level you are now, here's why. What ended up happening was, if she dumped you, as you said, what she did was she broke the energy between you two, she pulled away because it wasn't working with the way that you were operating with each other. So she had to pull herself out of the equation to radically shake you up. So that you can destress if you will, or resolve whatever is going on, shift your focus, shift your mindset and really approach things from a different way of looking at life. That's why it naturally then came back together. Here's the reason why people don't want to do that, is because they're afraid of facing that kind of truth. They are afraid of how uncomfortable that will actually be to do something so radical, indifferent.
60:00 - I would never put a lower octane FUEL into this sports car, this cars designed to do at 91 or 93 or higher octane. He goes and he gets a 93 because he lives in the south. It's akin to you putting in bad FUEL into a high level sports car and expecting it to perform at the top of its game every time, i.e. who you are in your performance. Listen to this, folks, it's like, if you feel and believe that you're gonna go out and crush your goals and accomplish the highest levels of success possible with all of the stresses that you have still held on to that you have not addressed head on. It's the same thing as you having that Maserati and putting it in drive while the parking brake is still on, then stepping on the gas and think you're not going to break that machine. People don't, they don't get that. They think, well, I'll just keep adding in more strategy and more processes and more systems. But they are not going to ultimately succeed. You're not going to optimize who you are, they're going to give you some momentum, they're going to create some structure for you. But when it comes to human performance, acceleration, life in business optimization, it goes far beyond the helping field, it's time for you to step into a place of what it takes to be optimized.
              01:14:40 - Final Words Shown Below…

Our Final Words of the Show:
I know the people that are listening are high achievers, you don't attract people that are not to listen to this type of show. They are aware of the stresses that they're holding on to, despite what might be in the public persona that they portray. But getting real with yourself when you're by yourself and feeling into what is it that I have not looked at or addressed head on. When you can get real with that and you can give yourself that permission to find a resource that you can't control that challenges you, those stresses can be resolved. You'll find that your power, your potential, will be unleashed in ways you least expect it, you'll find that your efforts, the work that you put into what you're looking to create, will in fact, become exponential and highly sustainable.
I want people to walk away from this, listening to that point and go, you know what, let me just get real with myself. Let me be vulnerable with myself and stop BS'ing myself and realize that I don't need to keep adding in more strategy. I need to start looking at how to remove things that are holding me back. Let me look at my dynamics in my life that aren't operating, and uplifting me to my highest potential. Let me face some truths that might be otherwise uncomfortable or something I've avoided and actually do something about that. Because when you do face, like you talked about with your wife, when you broke that dynamic, it transformed your relationship and it transformed your success. You didn't have to add more into your life to figure that out. That's what I want people to walk away with.

              Shari's Bio Continued:
Shari obtained a B.A. in Biology from Stockton University in 2011. In 2008, she took on an immense love for boxing and padwork training. In 2012, Shari began her training at Commando Krav Maga and Diamond Mixed Martial Arts Academy, a Muay Thai, Krav Maga, and Jiu-Jitsu studio located in Philadelphia.
When she moved to Los Angeles, she later became a boxing instructor at Title Boxing. Before taking an initial cross country road trip which she completed in 3 days, Shari obtained her 200-hour Power Yoga certification from Grace and Glory Yoga, located in New Jersey, in 2017.
After getting an initial taste of Los Angeles, she fell so in-love with the city that she decided to take a one-way-flight with no set place to stay to truly find her way after taking a break for one month. This journey had to be undertaken to complete her first book, which would lay the groundwork and foundation she had been searching for all of her life. Trauma and a difficult upbringing created a pretty unsteady foundation. Her recently published book creates a road map that got her onto better roads, and she hopes to help people from all walks of life walk on better roads as a result of reading her book.
Along with yoga and boxing, she was able to complete two 10-day Vipassana meditation retreats at S.N. Goenka’s meditation center in Shelburne Falls, MA. These modalities helped her to understand the importance of discipline that helped to create this book, and also were modalities which helped her to heal emotionally and physically.

                  00:30 - Introduction
06:50 - I took the gift of being all or nothing to say, you know what, it's not a bad trait. It's not some people call you got to be more great or, you're too black and white. It's don't throw the baby out with the bathwater, all these different things, but some people you have, there's a certain wiring for a reason.
23:00 - Oh, from the outside looking in, or I'm very much the same. I like real, because I've been through so much in my life. So what I like to hear those stories of like rags to riches or so for me, it's a viewer. I also like to know what made people tick, because how could you, how can I put this I myself, but I'm doing things I don't want to be upset about stuff. I want to be like, it's music, it's with movies, like I want something real and passionate. Whoa, that was so heavy. You can't fake that. So it's feeling and seeing how I feel, just because it's how I really felt some type of way to write the book.
31:30 - I'm gonna give you a very surface fact. So at 12 years old, I was already smoking cigarettes, at 13 years old I was already drinking and liked going and hanging out with friends.  You know, going into parents liquor cabinets, and let's take this gin, blah-blah-blah. At 14 years old, okay, this person or not found marijuana, so we're gonna smoke formaldehyde too.
42:35 - What are you willing to suffer? I was willing to, I rather suffered. We all have pain, right? I say some choose to suffer for greatness and some people choose to suffer because they feel great. This is escape. So I said, listen, this thing's gonna hurt. I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I don't know how I'm going to figure it out. But I would rather suffer this pain. That's where the risk taking comes in, no risk, no story, no all-in, no story.
                  55:20 - Final Words Shown Below…

Our Final Words of the Show:
Well, it's like I said, it's just one step at a time realizing that everybody's on different timelines. Regardless of where you were on your journey, it's just everybody goes through the phase to see beyond the surface. So people see me too, okay. So you just happen to be right there. So seeing beyond the surface, understanding that we're all connected, we all have a brain and a heart, we've all been through things. But you don't have to stick their turn, the trauma worked through, I gave a lot of tools in the book to work through to turn that coal into a diamond.
Then maybe it's on an author, maybe it's it's a singer, maybe you're a CEO of your own company, whatever it is, there's so many different dynamics as to how to convert that diamond. But you just have to keep working and you can't let hard work scare you. You just got to know that it's really not about the level of intelligence, it's about how bad do you want something? How bad do you want to change your life? You really have to be sold on that idea. Like, if I give up, is the regret of giving up worth it? Wondering what could have been if I don't do this work.
You know, like I mentioned, I stopped drinking for four years, clearly this way of life isn't serving me anymore. I said, if I don't do this, if I don't make the sacrifice, what's the other reality going to look like? What's that going to make me stuck with? There is a level of dramatics with it. But you have to feel that I wasn't a cold hearted person writing, I had to feel a level of discomfort and I'm tired of this entirety this way. I had to feel to the depths of my beat with every fiber of my being and wouldn't that when you don't drink, you're going to feel and it's not always going to feel nice, you know, especially with my history and things like that.
But I was like, you know what, I would rather endure this pain than that kind of pain, that's picking pains. What's your pain point? Then saying and realizing that there's never mistakes, there's just lessons and to just keep having faith in yourself. Knowing that there's a greater picture, the details are one thing like all the evidence that we both got to do. Those are the little details, but keep going back to all of that little stuff to get to the bigger picture. Who are you helping before you leave this world? Whose life can you change before you leave this world? What do you know and how can you show somebody? What could really be done? Maybe they don't have anybody else that can bring that out of them? That's what it's about.

                    Timestamped Show Notes:
                    00:30 - Introduction
06:15 - I worked for three years for somebody, but I knew from day one that I wanted to be self-employed. So I was working inside a franchise company and I became like a very high paid salesperson very quickly, I figured out like, you know, relationship and you know, how to be you know, drive result because I was, again always into goals and, you know, discipline and self-motivation.
10:55 - Now, there's the book theory of running a business and then there's real world. The example I always give is, look, I can tell you what it's like to ride a bike, since you're a cyclist, right? I can tell you what you're going to do mechanically. But until you sit on a bike and feel what it feels like to balance a bike underneath you, you can't really understand what it feels like to ride a bike.
20:25 - I will first backup to say. If I stopped growing, how can I be one of America's top consultants? That's ridiculous. So yeah, I reached the pinnacle of what I do as a franchise consultant years ago, but my friends are like, no moss grows on your drink. So I'm gonna say I peaked at 40 and then I never dared take a chance or do anything different?! So no, what I did was, I wasn't able to then turn to mentors inside my industry. But I found mentors outside of my industry, I found people who were creating wealth, in ways different than what I was using, real estate syndication, using infinite banking policies, using storage, using real tangible assets, I found somebody that had personal net worth of $100 million.
30:00 - We all have the internal power to create that WHY for ourselves. That's what fuels every single thing. My WHY isn't money, my WHY is influence, my WHY is helping people I see. The satisfaction for me, isn't taking somebody from I have the dream to leave corporate America, or I have the dream to own a business. But I don't know how to make it come true and taking them through a one to two month process to where I'm happily marrying them off to their franchisor.
40:25 - In a lot of businesses, the franchisor doesn't want the investor to invest in the land up front, save your cash, put it into the business, make sure this is a business you're going to enjoy. Make sure you have enough cash flow to get the business up and positively, you know, cash flowing, and then maybe look to buy out your landlord over time. Automotive is like a great industry for that for people that ultimately want to own the real estate.
                    49:20 - Final Words Shown Below…

Our Final Words of the Show:
I would say Scott that freedom is the most honest state of the human being right. We were created for joy and joy is really only ever fully achieved when we feel free. Freedom comes with a price. Usually, in the context of owning a business. The price is courage. It's the courage to put yourself into the arena. But in a franchising situation, it doesn't require like pure guts, it requires you following the lead of other people, those who've already figured it out. I can be your guide to help find those people to find an organization where you believe that you can thrive. So it's not like getting into that airplane, getting to your cruising altitude, and then jumping out having never skydived before all by yourself. It's skydiving out of that airplane with somebody on your back who's done this hundreds of times, and who can help you carefully land where you're trying to go.
That's really going to sum it up. So for those people that are inspired by the idea to own your business, it's never going to be the right time. It's never going to feel 100%, like, oh my gosh, this is it, I gotta go do this. There's always going to be those doubts, those insecurities, those anxieties, but if you want the outcome, if you want the life that you truly own, where you can be accountable to you where you can wake up every day, feeling empowered by what you've created, and abundant because it's all yours and it's unlimited. You have to be willing to push through those first fears, and put yourself into the conversation and I'm here, I'd love to be your daily coach, my services are free, you will never pay me any money, so you have nothing to lose.

                      Timestamped Show Notes:
                      00:30 - Introduction
11:00 - The absolute most all encompassing aspect of that is the light that we're under. So if it's not totally dark, when you're sleeping, your body knows. Our bodies, even if you're covering your eyes, your body can tell that the light is there, because every single cell in our body is being programmed by that light. So I've done all these things and then like drinking a Red Bull before you go to bed, right?
21:50 - One of the things I was learning was the importance of being in the sun for making vitamin D. I knew you couldn't make vitamin D in the winter and a lot of places, but I'd never thought much about it beyond that. I gave my kids a supplement, because the pediatrician told me to and that was kind of it. So I downloaded the D minder app, which tells you where the sun is in the sky, and it geo locates you and tells you how much vitamin D you can make on that day, depending on where you are.
32:15 - I love it. That's beautiful, Scott, and that's exactly it, right? It goes back to what we were saying before. You can take really good care of yourself. But then if you go to bed in a pile of asbestos, everything you've done that day is not going to save you right. So it's if not taking care of our light is like I would say as toxic as sleeping in a pile of asbestos.
40:45 - You do want to be getting some blue light during the day. That's the reason the darker the lenses, the more blue light is being blocked. There is no blue light in nature after sunset. There is blue light present in nature, during the day, especially around high noon. However, the natural light that you get from the sun, while it contains some of the blue spectrum, you never get just the blue on its own. It's always balanced out with some orange and some yellow and some red. I mean, it's the Sci Fi like it's not blue. So high noon, when you when it's like that really bright, intense light, that's when you have the most blue light present and the least red and then sunrise and sunset. Obviously, it flips around and the blue almost disappears. So if you were nighttime blue blockers during the day, you're still messing up your circadian rhythm. Because you're, you're telling it there's no blue light, which will trick your body, it'll make you sleepy.
50:20 - I have my red light on. So if there's decent quality and then this, I like that. So that's from a company called EMR tech. Yet these are those nice little lens. So it's not like a full red light panel where you can lay in front of it. and do your whole body. They do have those too.
                      01:10:00 - Final Words Shown Below…

Our Final Words of the Show:
I'm gonna go back to when I was at when I asked the doctors, when this type of information would make it into med school. And they said if if it ever does, it'll be another 15-20 years. And what I've realized through my research is there's something called the translational gap, when new information or a new discovery is validated and real. But there's, there's a lag between when it has been discovered, like say penicillin, and when it's something that's actively prescribed through the medical system. And we're in that gap right now with this type of information. And that gap is being filled with things like this podcast, and listening to this podcast and having mentors like you, and being people who are willing to take a risk and do their own research. We're shifting the paradigm and closing that gap faster, if it would you and maybe wouldn't even ever get closed. So I just want to say that what you do, and the people who listen to this podcast, it really matters.

                          00:30 - Introduction
05:15 - For those people who are interested in that, that's a real, rich area to explore. What we do in our  gratitude videos that we've talked about, is we have encompassed some of that, let's call it strategy. We don't take the technical approach to it, you don't have to understand what binaural beats are to appreciate what we've done.
06:00 - We've encompassed some of that in our gratitude videos, because we find that it's more engaging to the listener. There is something about the mind, it wants to kind of resolve that little slight difference that they hear and in the frequency, the tone. So that makes it more engaging to draw you into meditation.
10:00 - I mean, it is very, very interesting how people react to certain music and when I am getting ready to volunteer again for the convalescent homes, and the the director, the activity director that I spoke to said, those Alzheimer's patients don't remember the names or the the places they went to. They don't even speak much, but when they hear the music that they are familiar with, they start singing they have not forgotten the lyrics to the songs. So yes, music plays a huge role in mental illnesses, disabilities, you know, simple things like get you going.
20:00 - Check out Dope Panels, we just got the trademark, 100% dope and dope panels
28:00 - In addition to the audio, the thing that we did here is we took the audio, it's kind of an introduction to meditation for some people tell us it's a good place to start. But we also added video and we added an on screen informational kit content, which really kind of doubles the impact because you're connecting multiple modalities.
30:00 - Our 90 Minute suicide is a film, it's called stay alive. It was aimed at communicating with people who were in a very dark place.
41:00 - I'm from Japan. Yeah. I am a city girl, I'm from Tokyo and you know, city I know. Having worked with Tokyo Disney, the new newest ride the hottie ride with de Mads, like all six songs. It was it was really, really fun project.
51:00 - My partner is actually an ex car race driver. He raced for 20 years and he's done enough carbon damage that he really wants to save the environment. He's a two time cancer survivor when he was 19. He had cancer when he was 21. He got everything metastasized, and he was dying at 98 pounds and cannabis helped him survive.

Our Final Words of the Show:
I am a huge believer of not putting any limitations. Because the worst you get is a no. So I would encourage everybody to be fearless and do it, as long as it's not illegal or hurting yourself or hurting them hurting others. Just put no limitations out there and just go for it. Just believe in yourself and if you get no then move on. But you know, no is the the worst that you get. Be kind to all living things, animals, the environment, the trees and oceans, and you know, do unto others. That's always been my go to.

                        • Autoimmune Diseases and What’s Wrong With My Child
Autoimmune conditions and diseases are real. Do you wonder what's wrong with your child?
Elizabeth Harris is a devoted mother, author and science-minded business owner with more than two decades of experience in the field of wellness. Elizabeth’s education, life experience, drive and entrepreneurial spirit proved to be the very thing that saved the life of both herself and her son after they were diagnosed with rare and very serious autoimmune diseases.
In 2008, Elizabeth’s son came down with a case of strep throat, after receiving antibiotics he seemed to be feeling better, but then his behavior became erratic. After consulting numerous doctors, specialists and undergoing multiple tests, Elizabeth’s son was diagnosed with Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS) and he was prescribed psychiatric medication and they were sent on their way. Her son got worse. He began having uncontrollable compulsions and ended up in a juvenile detention center. His psychiatric symptoms were replacing his physical symptoms and Elizabeth realized that her son’s immune system was misfiring. Around the same time, Elizabeth was diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome, experienced hair loss, limb numbness and more. Elizabeth decided to take matters into her own hands, quit her job and dedicated her life to finding the real root of her son’s health issues. She discovered that both herself and her son were infected by a bacteria called Mycoplasma Pneumonia and was able to follow a treatment plan to finally solve their health issues. Today, Elizabeth uses her experience and her expert wellness team to help others at What’s Wrong Wellness and is also the author of What’s Wrong with My Child and America is Infected.

                              00:30 - Introduction
05:00 - Well, they weren't the same, they didn't present the same. But ultimately they were and so that was the confusing piece. I mean, there was some good news and bad and we had adopted two children as well. So everyone was showing symptoms, you know, when you get all this information, and this or that and finally, one day, I'm like, well, wait a minute.
11:30 - I just trusted our pediatrician that he knew what to do. But it was very odd. When my ex-husband and my son were over there when this happened. We both witnessed him just completely going into these episodes, it was an episode with one specific actor struck.
19:30 - I just took a hiatus, a sabbatical basically, just to be a full time mom, stay at home, and keep an eye on everything.  Then our housekeeper comes in one day with a sore throat and had strep. And here comes around to I mean, almost immediately, it sent him through the roof, this time with a whole new on flight, and a variety of psychiatric symptoms yet again. So it's like a next level. So like now it's not just OCD and ADHD, this time we had oddness and the compulsions to live there.
30:00 - I'm waiting really and I'm like looking at all these labs. I'm taking him to all of these doctors just to make sure I haven't missed anything but the only thing in his system is streptococcal pneumonia and his titers are always really high when he's in bad shape and a mycoplasma pneumonia infection. One or two doctors already said, that doesn't mean anything. But you know, once we had the other things in place, that was the only thing still left. So I said, okay, this has to be this, like, it's nothing else. We had the genes tested at $10,000 in genetic testing, on top of the fact that, my adopted children had them. So at the end of the day, I was like, I gotta learn more about this mycoplasma pneumonia.
40:00 - I'm either gonna order $3,000 worth of these antibiotics, we're gonna get cured, or we'll lose a house and we're gonna die anyways.

                                  00:30 - Introduction
10:00 - I have been involved with a lot of training academies, training the people that we hire, I've done several. You get to week three or so and you start to learn that people's personalities are the ones that are going to actually stick around and graduate. A bunch of them get nicknames and that nickname for sure follows them to their first assignment. A lot of times, you know, quite a ways through their career.
20:00 - The first time I have ever went on an airplane was there were fires are burning in Florida in 1998. And we flew, we went to Florida, in all parts of Florida, northern Florida and Flagler County there. And we got our R&R in Florida. So a whole bunch of you know, 21 year old kids, you know, going to check it out places we never been Cocoa Beach and mandatory days, days off. You go to the south Daytona. No, we were up in the middle of the state, though. We made it to Daytona. We did. We rented a car and went to we rented a t top trans-am. Anybody here ever heard of a car company called Pontiac,
31:20 - on those tragic events, and you know, we're kind of talking, you know, about, like you said, people that are closest, how hard it is for them. And when I would use it as a training tool, and this is a great discussion, just for everybody listening out there. And if you haven't seen the movie, I definitely recommend recommend it as just a way to honor those, those guys that are no longer with us, but but it's the human factors, right. Like you mentioned, there's, there's policies, and there's procedures, and then there's science, right, there's the weather that we can't always predict. But really, we specialize and when we're training people, you know, we can't control all those other factors. But we're trying to teach people the human factors.
40:00 - In reference to Situational Awareness, a lot of times I try to recognize when things aren't going like they should. Or if somebody needs help in a certain area, I'm kind of that for them, but who's watching my back? So that's her, she's seeing the whole picture.
50:00 - I post a lot about fitness because like you, it's just kind of over time, that's kind of what I became known for. At work, that was part of my passion, that's just who I am. So that's the business side of it, the podcasting, and even the business side with VenturAthlete. I actually started first programming for our teams that I worked with are paid, hand crews, trying to come up with something that we can do at work that would still allow us to work. Because you can go hardcore on a lot of this programming that you can find online nowadays.
                                  01:02:00 - Final Words Shown Below…

Our Final Words of the Show:
At this point, what I would like to be known for and what I would like to pass on even to my sons that they would be known for, and I kind of got it just in three little little short blurbs. It's to Stay Hungry, to Be Humble, and to Do Hard-Work. You're never going to reach the pinnacle. You're never going to get to the top of the ladder. Staying hungry all the time, but doing it in a way that has humility and not arrogance. That means you can help other people and then doing the hard work recognizing when there's hard work and not passing it up to let somebody else handle it. But you get in there and do the hard work and so that's what I would drop on the audience. I hope it's helpful to you and thank you so much Scott for having me on the show.

                                      00:30 - Introduction
04:00 - So You Want To Be A Hotshot went live a few months back on Amazon. We originally were going to self-publish on Amazon but shout out to Hilary Jastram, my girl, she's been on the show many many times. She's a powerful guru and amazing book editor!
08:00 - My client Vinnie Tortorich, quick shout out to Vinnie, founder of the NSNG Lifestyle that I live by no sugar, no grains. He's also just published his third documentary film, which I do social media marketing for. He's now a client, not just a friend, not just a fellow podcaster but check out BEYOND IMPOSSIBLE that just aired yesterday, January 11 2022. As of recording this, alot has been happening, that's kind of a hint of this episode. A lot is going on with the new book, a new home, resuming the podcast, taking a break for my clients growing their things, helping them launch movies, helping them launch new vitamins, coffees, and other companies.
15:20 - There are so many tangents I could go off on. But the main theme that I wanted to hit tonight, quickly on the show, so I can get it out, is I haven't slowed down. I hope a lot of you haven't either.
                                      28:00 - Final Words Shown Below…

Our Final Words of the Show:
I still got to put up or shut up. So that being said, thanks for catching me in 2022. As I said earlier, so I wish nothing but health and prosperity for each and every one of you out there and to my fuel world, my field nation. Please bear with me as I resume the show. I look forward to talking to you all again soon. And again, put yourself first so you can give back to everyone you care about and the future people you will be helping and caring about in years to come. Thanks everyone. Have a great night. I'll talk to you guys again soon.
