Jana and I took one of our programs typically used in corporations, businesses, and groups as a 1.5 hour "Unlock Your Creativity: Bring Flow, Innovation, and Teamwork back to your Teams to Renew Success", and adapted it to benefit Chair The Love, the non-profit we have partnered with.  (What we do in CTL)

We bring an Art and Creativity exercise into teams to help re-inspire teams and unleash a new creative mindset to the everyday environment of business & life for a more productive and fruitful results.

Too often in life, complacency sets in and is followed by disengagement and we're left with a dull, unproductive, unfriendly, and uninspired workforce and work environment.  Who wants to work in THAT?

We create our own realities.  Helping clarify the co-creation equation allows our group attendees to reimagine how they "fit" into the overall co-creation success and imagine new opportunities to contribute for a community oriented compounding of success comprised of each person's individual successes.

Do you find yourself stressing about all the things that you don't even have control over?  When we try to control.. we are placing unreasonable expectations on people and the world around us because the expectations are unexpressed expectations.  We envision how we WANT something to go from a singular perspective and then expect all the pieces to just fall into place.  It gets frustrating when expectations are consistently not met.  You end up wanting to fire everyone around you and then fire life.

If people are consistently falling short of your expectations, it may be time to decide if you need to work on YOUR communication skills.  As the person with the expectations and being adversely affected by the unmet expectations, you should take 100% responsibility for the delivery of expectations and the understanding to the point they can be communicated back to you to your satisfaction.

Just tell 2 people to alternate folding a piece of paper and tearing it in a specific corner (top left, etc) after a few folds and tears, open both pieces and see how different they look.  Translation of expectations is an issue.

In business and in life, we all want to be successful. There are times however when it feels like we hit a plateau or a ceiling for growth.  We've maximized our capabilities.  In the simplest form, that could look like not being able to recognize available opportunities because our capability to Think Differently" has been maximized.  We become trapped in our "sameness".

There is an endless number of opportunities. The problem is there is a gap between the next opportunity and your current capability.  That Gap is potential.  Increase your capabilities buy learning new skills, getting new ideas, participating in a MasterMind, getting a coach to help ask better questions.

Masterminds are an accelerator for business and life.  They have been around for centuries.  You become the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. 

When you don't know what you don't know, what you don't know will keep you broke or make you broke.

You don't have to be happy ALL the time, but you can live in a State Of Joy, and choose to feel more happiness in life.   Have you ever actually asked yourself, "Am I truly happy?" and pondered the answer to the question deeply?

Jana and I live in a state of gratitude and often joyful state.  We are not always happy AND we are deeply disturbed by much of what is going on in the world.

Before we became intentional about our lives,  we didn't realize that by not intentionally taking action to move toward our purpose, we were drifting into the abyss. It was a slow circling of the drain.

Take Inventory of your life. Where am I? Where do I want to go? What do I want? What do I need to do to get it? (What price am I willing to pay for it?) Who will I become? Is THAT who I want to become.  What does it look like to win? What are the little "Wins" along the way to mark progress?

Is there an area of your life that you need to declutter?  Thoughts, Physical space, Emotions, Energy, Your Friends or Social Circle??? What you watch, or scroll through?

There is A LOT of noise in the world.  Is it crowding YOU out?  Clutter may be a sign of a scarcity mindset in a specific area of your life.  Clutter in your life also correlates to areas of our lives that are not organized and cause us stress and anxiety, even if we don't acknowledge it.

Clutter in our lives is a way to distract us from our "definiteness of purpose*".  It is the way we bring the outside noise inside to bury our dreams.

*I first heard the term "Definiteness of purpose" from Napoleon Hill. 3 MUST READ books for personal development IMHO are Think and Grow Rich, Outwitting the Devil, and the Bible.

We are pretty worn our from the last week and especially this weekend.  Here's the rundown.
Jason wrapped up an 8 day trip to a 4 day event in Dallas and got home after 11:30 Tuesday night.
Jana ran the house and business all week, plus read 6 or 7 books assigned by her coach over 2 weeks, held 2 group coaching appointments, attended a recognition event to honor her service (I missed it), and misc. stuff.
This weekend we attended a great FUNdRaiser for CILOrlando, Friday night at Drive Shack Orlando.
Saturday was a full day in Eustis for the Amazing Race for Charity 2023.  INCREDIBLE.

Sometimes you don't realize all the things that are available to you right in your 'back yard'.  When you slow down, spend time with people, and appreciate what's around, you'll see there's even more.

What is perfectionism doing for you? Are you waiting to know everything, waiting for the perfect timing, waiting for more resources?  What is keeping you from taking action to get a little closer to the actual end goal?

Rate of application... What STEPS can you take NOW, each day, to get you physically closer to your success markers while you are still "gathering" the remaining resources. 

Taking action while you are learning and gathering resources will get you through the stages of competence (1. Unconscious Incompetence, 2. Conscious Incompetence,  3. Conscious Competence, 4. Unconscious Competence) quicker.

The goal is to reach objectives and enjoy the journey.  Now is the right time for the journey.  Do you have ENOUGH to START moving FORWARD? Then START MOVING.

Have you ever felt like you are living the same week over and over again?  Anxiety sets in between 4 and 8 pm on Sunday and you know Monday is going to start of another week that looks and feels just lake last week.  How long has that been going on?   If this is relatable, you're life has fallen into the hypnotic rhythm. You may not remember what you had for breakfast, but you can pretty much describe what every week looks and feels like.

It's so natural for this to happen, it is described as the LAW of Hypnotic Rhythm.  This means you ARE going to roll into a rhythm of life.  You must take intentional action to set your own rhythm, or you will succumb to the rhythm of the 98 percent who are numb to life.

We're heading to THE AMAZING RACE for charity in Eustis Florida. Do YOU ever feel like life has hit you RIGHT IN THE FACE? here's the video we reference about the lady from the CBS series Amazing Race getting crushed in the face in 2010. It's brutal.

Jana and I value health, fun, gratitude, contributing to society, and community. This event allows us to fill all these buckets at once.  It's a great practice for us to find the experiences in life that fill as many "Value Buckets" as possible.

Don't rush through life, value your experiences. Notice what they are providing and enjoy the journey. In the game, Amazing Race, contestants race from point to point. If you are always trying to get to where you're going, you never get to be who you're becoming.  Allow yourself time to BE.
