Ephesians 4:30 reminds us: “And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”
As followers of Christ, we carry the Holy Spirit with us into every part of life—our work, our relationships, even our health and fitness. That truth is both a comfort and a conviction. If God’s Spirit is always with me, am I living in a way that honors Him?
In today’s episode, I share how this verse challenges me personally to examine my daily habits, choices, and thought patterns. From the way I care for my body to the way I respond under stress, I want to live with a heart that pleases Him—not one that pushes Him aside.
When we recognize the Spirit’s presence, it changes everything. Conviction leads to freedom, not shame, because God is calling us closer to Himself.
What you’ll learn today:
Let’s learn to honor God in the way we live, move, and steward our bodies—because He is with us in it all.

Ephesians 4:24 says, “Put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” This isn’t a one-time decision—it’s a daily act of surrender. Every day, we get to choose whether we live in our old patterns of thinking and behaving, or step into the new identity Christ has given us.
In this episode, we’ll talk about what it looks like to “take off” the old self in your health journey—whether that’s unhealthy habits, negative self-talk, or striving in your own strength—and instead “put on” the new self, rooted in righteousness, grace, and freedom.
You’ll learn:
This journey isn’t about perfection—it’s about daily surrender and transformation. When you choose to put on your new self, your health habits begin to reflect the grace and freedom you already have in Christ.
🌿 Scripture: Ephesians 4:24
✨ Takeaway: True health is found when we daily live from our new identity in Christ, not our old patterns.

So much of our health and fitness journey isn’t about food or workouts—it’s about our mindset. In Ephesians 4:23, Paul reminds us to “be made new in the attitude of your minds.” That means the real transformation begins by aligning our thoughts with who we are in Christ.
In this episode, we’ll dig into what it looks like to take captive the lies we believe about our bodies, food, and fitness, and replace them with the truth of God’s Word. If you’ve ever thought, “I’ll never change,” “I’ll always struggle,” or “I’m not enough”—this message is for you.
You’ll learn:
This isn’t about striving harder—it’s about surrendering your thoughts and letting God’s truth reshape how you live, eat, move, and care for your body.
🌿 Scripture: Ephesians 4:23
✨ Takeaway: Transformation in your health begins with transformation in your mind.

Ephesians 4:22 says, “You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires.”
Sister, today we’re digging into what it looks like to take off the old patterns that are keeping you stuck—whether that’s shame-driven dieting, emotional eating, comparison, or neglecting the temple of your body.
This isn’t about willpower or performance—it’s about surrender. Just as we take off old clothes that no longer fit, we can choose to take off the lies and behaviors that no longer belong to us as daughters of Christ.

Ephesians 4:20–21 reminds us: “That, however, is not the way of life you learned when you heard about Christ and were taught in Him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus.”
Sister, this passage calls us to take a hard look at what doesn’t line up with Christ—and name it. Whether it’s fear, comparison, overeating, self-hatred, or shame, you have the authority in Jesus to say: “____ is not the way of life I learned in Christ.”
In this episode, I’ll challenge you to fill in that blank for yourself and surrender it to God. Because your stronghold does not define you—Jesus does. And when we call it out, we step into the freedom He died to give us.
What You’ll Learn in This Episode:
Scripture to Reflect On:
Ephesians 4:20–21 – “That, however, is not the way of life you learned when you heard about Christ and were taught in Him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus.”
Takeaway Challenge:
Fill in the blank: “_______ is not the way of life I learned when I came to Christ.” Say it out loud. Write it down. Pray it over your life. And choose to walk in the freedom that is already yours in Jesus.
