  • Ephesians in August: Living Like You Have an Inheritance — What You Believe About Yourself Changes Everything

Welcome back to our Rooted in Ephesians series!

Today we’re resting in the truth of Ephesians 1:11–12:

“In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of His glory.”

You’ve been chosen. You’ve been included. You have an inheritance—a future and a position in the kingdom that you didn’t earn, but were freely given in Christ.

When you realize you’re an heir, not an outsider, it starts to change the way you think.
You don’t have to live from insecurity, fear, or shame anymore.
You don’t have to chase value—you already have it.

Your spiritual inheritance is a daily invitation to live like a daughter of the King, walking in purpose, identity, and peace—because your story is part of His glory.

    💭 Reflection Question:

Are your thoughts about yourself aligned with your identity as a daughter with an inheritance—or with an orphan trying to prove her worth?

💬 Truth to Speak Over Yourself:

“I have an inheritance in Christ. I don’t have to strive to be worthy—I already belong.”

    🙏 Prayer Prompt:

“Father, thank You for including me in Your family and giving me an eternal inheritance. Help me walk in that identity today—with boldness, humility, and trust.”

  • Ephesians in August: Redeemed and Realigned — Worshiping with Your Body and Bites

Welcome back to our August series, Rooted in Ephesians.

Today we’re pausing with Ephesians 1:7–10, where Paul writes:

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, He made known to us the mystery of His will... to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.”

These verses are a stunning reminder that your salvation wasn’t cheap. It was bought with the blood of Jesus. He didn’t just redeem your soul—He redeemed your story, your struggles, your body, your entire life.

And when we truly grasp that—when we understand the weight and wonder of being redeemed—it changes how we live today. We no longer use our bodies out of shame, punishment, or neglect. We use them as a form of worship.

We eat, move, rest, and care for ourselves not to earn anything, but in response to everything we've already been given in Christ.

    💭 Reflection Question:

Does your current relationship with food and your body reflect gratitude for your redemption—or guilt and striving?

💬 Truth to Speak Over Yourself:

“I am redeemed. I worship God not just with my words, but with my body and choices.”

    🙏 Prayer Prompt:

“Jesus, thank You for redeeming me fully and completely. Help me live from that truth today—aligning my choices, my habits, and my health with Your grace, not my guilt.”

  • Ephesians in August: You Are Chosen — Walking in the Truth of God’s Love

Welcome back to Day 2 of our August podcast series, Rooted in Ephesians.

Today we’re resting in one powerful truth from Ephesians 1:4:

“For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight.”

Let that sink in for a minute…

God chose you—on purpose, with love, and before the world even began. You were not an afterthought. You’re not invisible. You’re not trying out for God's approval like you're in some kind of spiritual audition.

Before you ever performed, succeeded, failed, or fell apart—He had already said, “She’s mine.”

Today’s episode is a reminder that your value is not in your productivity, your body, or your ability to keep it all together. Your value is in Christ. Full stop.

    💭 Reflection Question:

Are you trying to earn something God has already freely given you?

💬 Truth to Speak Over Yourself:

“I am chosen, holy, and loved.”

    🙏 Prayer Prompt:

“Lord, thank You for choosing me—not because of what I’ve done, but because of who You are. Help me walk today with the quiet confidence of someone who is handpicked by You.”

  • You Are Already Blessed — Kicking Off Our August Series in Ephesians

Welcome to Day 1 of our special August podcast series: "Rooted in Ephesians."

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ."

You’re not working for blessing—you’re walking from it.

    🙏 Prayer Prompt:
