Laura is a teacher at heart. She spent 20 years as an educator in public and private schools and also homeschooled the girls in their primary years. She has served in children’s and women’s ministries for nearly three decades and currently leads and mentors young moms which has quickly become one of her favorite communities. She is a speaker for women’s ministries and educators around the country. 

In her spare time Laura is a designer at heart and loves to take old things and make them beautiful.

Shannen Fields is a gifted actress, producer, model, and inspirational speaker. In her late twenties, Shannen began to grow a deep desire to accomplish something in life much larger than herself. This aspiration first transpired in 2003 when she and her family moved back to her hometown of Albany, Georgia and met the faith-based filmmakers Alex and Stephen Kendrick. A few years later in 2006, Shannen’s dreams were launched with the Kendrick Brother’s feature film Facing the Giants where she was cast as the lead female role of Brooke Taylor.

Shannen and her production team  are working on a new film called, “The Order of Rights.” The pro-life film centers around the story of Emma Stein, a pregnant single girl, who has been advised by her mother to abort the baby. Despite the objection of the child’s father, Ethan Carpenter, and his promise to help her, she decides to go ahead with the procedure. When Ethan and his family file a lawsuit on behalf of the child’s right to life, the drama escalates as Emma’s mother, Kerri, contacts a friend in the Associated Press. Before long, the case is mired in media frenzy.

Jeff is a problem-solver, understanding that doing more with less is a 21st century mandate. After coming to the University in 2000, Jeff took on the challenge of managing a multi-million dollar landscaping beautification implementation project.  Faced with a demand for excellence and high productivity, and a stagnant budget, Jeff knew that growing the people was critical to growing the plants. Through that experience, Jeff developed his approach to managing resources and developing personnel – his GROW-theory; a management and professional development  approach based in the belief that all humans either strive for or have within them the elements of Greatness, Resiliency, Opportunity and Wisdom – they just need a fertile environment to GROW.

Natalie Stanfield lives in the Atlanta, GA area with her husband, Jason, and their two kiddos, Joy and Jon Paul.  Natalie is a former elementary school teacher turned stay at home mom.  While she was growing up, Natalie knew nothing of the orphan crisis.  It has only been through her personal journey of faith that she has come to identify with orphans and everyone’s need for a Father.  The desire to instill a lifestyle of generosity within her family and community became a priority.  CARE for AIDS was introduced to her recently through some friends as they talked about their experiences and how they teach their children about loving and serving others.  After praying and talking to other moms with little kids at home, Families for Families was born.  Natalie and her family cling to the verse in 1 John that says we should not love only with words or speech but rather love with actions and in truth!  This is her driving passion behind Families for Families!

Christian solo artist and speaker, Csilla Muscan, has spent most of her life performing and singing for audiences around the globe.

Life has been an uphill battle ever since she grew up under communism in Hungary, in a highly abusive home,But instead of focusing on what has been lost, Csilla is grateful to God for all that she has been given. It hasn’t been easy for her, as she will truthfully tell you but, surrendering to it all isn’t an option for this musical warrior.

Csilla (Chee-la) has been singing from the early age of 7. She loves music and singing with all of her heart but at the end of the day, she wants to be known for making a difference in other’s lives.“No matter who you are, or where you might be in life right now, know that you have value. Your life and the gifts you offer to the world are needed.” She hopes that by sharing her story, it will help you share yours!
