  • Living to the PLUS #31- The SCIENCE of the Microbiome to Protect US

The Biden "Administration" claims to be back to "Science vs Politics" and his top Doc Fauci has recommended now we wear two masks, with absolutely no science to back it...

Over the past few decades the most advancing science has been around he human genome project towards understanding the human blueprint and involving human health. One of the many more opportunities to study from the Human Genome Project has been to study the microbiome. Dr. Zach Bush claimed that most all human disease can be linked the the health of our microbiome or gut. Our gut is our own personal daily chemistry experiment. Yet our "Science Backed Administration" has yet to mention the genome project and more importantly microbiome health to combat ALL disease.

  • Living to the PLUS #27- Attitude with Outcome

Not everything works out the way we plan or imagine. What happens after that is up to us, it's a choice- either we can go about the day and accept outcomes and make the best out of the situation or we can choose to have a bad attitude and make the rest of the day sour for others.

    What do you choose?

  • Living to the PLUS #26- When you don't want to.

Part of the reason I do this podcast is to force myself to do something I don't necessarily want to do everyday. To force myself to start with creating something for the day, to set the tone for the day to continue to create, to focus, to help others.

  • Living to the PLUS #25- Barton Springs with the Riv

Waking up early and getting in a morning swim is one of the best ways to start the day in my opinion.

But this was a special day, because my son River, has shown an interest in swimming his Senior Year in HS.
So I thought I would drive up the Austin early, pick him up and we head to Barton Springs.
Barton Springs is a free swim 5am-8am so this is the first time both of us has taken advantage of this.
The best way to start the day is swimming before the sun comes up with your son to support him and spend that special time with him.

The question of the day- is there anything you skipping or passed on that now you say to yourself "What if.."?

Live to the Plus, it is never too late to try something new or something you want to challenge yourself.

Not many families make the change from Texas Town family life to an almost fully self-sustaining family with producing your own food.

We hear Dean and Olivia's story on how and why they made a dramatic life and family change into farming.

We then go in-depth with these questions and a few PLUS questions ;-)-

    1. What is your view of the future of food and what will change over the next 1, 5, 10 years?
    2. How do you think urban and regenerative farming will play a role in this?
    3. Given current events, such as the pandemic. if we or our government were more focused on the condition of our soil and food; how would that approach be different or better than their current "plan of attack"?
    4. Do you think the condition and future of our soil and food should be priority #1 why or why not?
    5. Do you see gardens and farms in communities in neighborhoods in the future and what do you think the first steps to get there?
    6. >>>>>

Great talking with you today. That was a lot of fun and we're so glad your thinking of ways to grow more of your own food.
