This short bonus episode will guide you through how to ground yourself in the present!
It's great for anxiety, depression, sadness, and overwhelm, or when your mind has been focused on the worries of the future, the regrets of the past, a difficult circumstance you're facing today, or overwhelm in general that tend to draw you away from enjoying the present and being in the here and now.
This is an extension of the short activity in Episode 11, "Ways to Feel Better When You're Feeling Sad," and enables you to come back to this grounding practice over and over however many times you need, or will teach you how to ground yourself in the present moment so you can do it on your own whenever you need to. (Psst, Episode 11 is great for if you have more time and want to really dive into how you can feel better if you're feeling any of the things emotions!)
Living vicariously through yourself is living as the best version of yourself, starting today, so that you get to live the life of your dreams because in living as the best version of yourself now, you'll always be making progress toward your dreams and eventually be living them entirely, one step at a time.
