April 29                  (Fifth Sunday of Easter)

Theme:                  Because of the Resurrection of Jesus we now have the power to experience something called, "New Birth". This means that we are made new IN Christ Jesus. When this happens it gives an increased ability to love. We

can now love deeply, from the heart. Not only does this bring out the best in us, but it helps us to bring out the best in others.

April 22                 (Fourth Sunday of Easter)      

Text:                     Romans 6:1-11

Title:                     Come Alive! "Living the 'New Life'"

Theme:                 We can often get stuck in old habits and old routines, and some of these habits and routines are counterproductive to whom God created us to be. Because of the resurrection we can now have new life, but to live this

new life we have to accept the freedom God gives us.

April 15                (Third Sunday of Easter)      

Text:                    Ephesians 2:1-10

Title:                    Come Alive!  "How Does God See Me?"

Theme:                 Far too often in this world we buy into how others see us and how the world suggests we should see ourselves, but we forget what the Bible says about how God sees us. Once we understand who we are in God's eyes it

changes everything!  Our lives come alive with power, joy, and purpose.

April 8                (Second Sunday of Easter)       

Text:                  Colossians 2:13-14

Title:                  Come Alive!  "Accepting God's Forgiveness"

Theme:              Life is hard and many of us have the scars to prove it. Those scars are a result of pain, hardship, suffering, and rejection. Those scars can cause us to lose our confidence, and can rob us of the joy of life.  The good news of

the resurrection is that our redemption is complete. We are now fully accepted and fully forgiven.             

April 1                    (Easter)

Text:                      John 20:11-20

Title:                      Come Alive!  "The Power to Live With Confidence"

Theme:                  There are every day aspects of life that can kill our confidence. This affects us in every area of our life. Easter has the power to bring us to new life and restore our confidence. But it takes more than just acknowledging

the resurrection. We have to experience the real presence of Jesus.
