Liz and Liz Get Literary

“Consent is hot.” - Lyla Sage, July 18th, 2024 at Wild Geese Book Shop. 💜

We knew then that Lyla would be an author we’d immediately buy, visit, rave about, and convince everyone around us to read. From Rebel Blue Ranch to Sweetwater Peak, we’ve walked the trails, ogled the nose rings, hot-wired the cars and been haunted (in the best ways) by the ghosts. 👻🩷

Sweetwater Peak is such a special place. Clarke and Collins are two characters with so much depth and emotion that it felt like we were being introduced to people we’ve known our whole lives. Getting the chance to talk with Lyla about them felt surreal, and we’re so grateful we got to do it! Free Falling is such a magnificent and haunting book! We loved every second of it, and we can’t wait for you all to read it. 👻 🤠

So come join us in Sweetwater Peak as we talk with Lyla about all things ghosts, Sweetwater Peak, the MCU, and so much more. 💜🧡

Harbinger releases September 22, and guys… it’s GOOD. A unique storyline, fantastic twists, and a white-haried shadow daddy who may, or may not, resemble a certain Witcher? PSH. Say no more. We’re sold. It was such a blast getting to talk to Geneva, learn some behind the scenes facts about Harbinger and just giggle and have a great time!

We have been excited for this episode since Liz & Liz began! (We know …CRAZY!)

You always hear about “auto-buy authors,” and today’s guest is exactly that for Liz S. ❤️‍🔥

Liz discovered Jeaniene Frost back in 2008 through her beloved Night Huntress series (which you’ve DEFINITELY heard us rave about multiple times) and introduced Liz G to her books years later.. We feel very confident to say this has been a long time coming.

And now, Jeaniene is HERE with us on the podcast! 🥳🎙️ Her brand new book, A Curse of Beasts and Magic, releases TOMORROW, and trust us when we say: YOU. NEED. THIS. BOOK. 🔥🐉🧜‍♀️

Also…there may be an extra special reason to tune in 👀 We have a special giveaway we are partnering with Jeaniene on and we cannot WAIT for you to find out what it is!

Catch the episode wherever you watch or listen to podcasts… we’ll see you there! 🖤

🎙️ WE ARE BACK! 🎙️

After a short hiatus, Liz & Liz is back with an incredible interview with Cynthia Pelayo, Bram Stoker Award-winning author of It Came From Neverland! ✨

Coming June 9th, It Came From Neverland is a retelling focusing on Wendy after her adventures in Neverland, blending the beloved world of Peter Pan with the chilling horror vibes of Stephen King’s “It” in a dark retelling set during WWI. Creepy, haunting, and impossible to put down (just make sure your lights are turned on! 💡)

A huge thank you to Cynthia and her team for sitting down and talking with us! We had the BEST time!

🎧 Listen wherever you get your podcasts. We can’t wait for you to join us! See you there!
