We have a random little episode for you today! We're chatting about some book news, answering a few questions from listeners, and, as per usual, going off on plenty of random tangents along the way. Basically, it's a little bit of everything.

And because no episode would be complete without some kind of chaos, you also get to experience Micaela discovering a spider by her live on the pod.

Make sure to grab a copy of our September Book Club, Verity by Colleen Hoover. We'll be discussing the book AND movie in a couple weeks!

Today, we're hopping on the "You Couldn't Pay Us To…" trend! Are we a little late? Yes. Did that stop us? Absolutely not. In a shocking turn of events, we spend most of this episode talking about literally anything except the actual topic. We cover book news, the new Dancing with the Stars cast, and, of course, we had to spend some time talking about Lando Norris.

In today's episode, we're talking about our August Book Club pick, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. Just kidding, we spend about six minutes talking about the book, and the rest of the episode is dedicated to ALL the ACOTAR release news for A Court of Splintered Harmony and A Court of Forgotten Melody! It finally feels like we're back in our reading groove, and we couldn't be more excited to spend the next two months theorizing, speculating, and counting down.

Don't worry, our Book Club will be back at it next month with our September pick, Verity by Colleen Hoover. We hope you'll join us!

This is the summer of random episodes, and this one is no different! We chat about some book news, some TV news, and share lists of books we've recently added to our TBRs, as well as the ones we want to read before summer is over.

True to the It Gets Good fashion, we all came into this episode with completely different ideas of how to structure our lists… and, naturally, chaos ensues. We're all over the place in this one, but honestly, we had such a great time recording it, and we hope you have just as much fun listening!

Make sure to grab a copy of our August Book Club pick, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. Kyleigh promises that it gets good!!

Our July Book Club pick was The Poet Empress by Shen Tao, and we're so glad so many of you enjoyed it! Unfortunately, it didn't quite work for us. While we all agreed the writing was beautiful and poetic, the story itself fell flat. We also share a bit of bookish news in this episode, so even if you didn't read this month's pick, we hope you'll still tune in!
