Locked On Broncos - Daily Podcast On The Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos traveled to SoFi Stadium to take on AFC West Division Rival Los Angeles Chargers. The Broncos offense would have countless opportunities slip through their hands as they struggled to put up points through the first three-quarters of action despite some promising drives. Drew Lock attempted to rally the Broncos offense, but Jerry Jeudy would turn in the worst performance of his career as he struggled with various key drops. How can Jeudy respond going forward, how can he and Drew Lock get on the same page, and what is hindering the Broncos from converting on the promising drives they put together. Cody Roark discusses this and the Broncos defense who held the Chargers offense to one touchdown on the day, and with one game remaining on the season, what will be the Broncos focus this upcoming week before the Raiders game?

Denver will travel to SoFi Stadium to take on the Los Angeles Chargers and they're hoping to come away with a tough road win. The Broncos face concerns in their secondary with the lack of depth after A.J. Bouye's suspension and Bryce Callahan remaining on injured reserve. Can the Broncos cornerbacks hold their own against Justin Herbert and the Chargers skill players? Denver Broncos President of Football Operations and General Manager John Elway believes that he still likes what he has seen from QB Drew Lock, but there are obvious areas where he has to improve.

For today's Text Message Tuesday, the Denver Broncos future is in the hands of the fans in Broncos Country. If Broncos fans could make one decision for the entire organization, what would their decision be? Some fans indicated they would trade certain players, fire certain coaches or front office personnel, and retaining the current staff, and focusing on developing the young talent on the roster. As the Broncos experience their fifth consecutive losing season, the bigger picture becomes the focus on today's episode. Broncos Head Coach Vic Fangio gives an injury update on Bradley Chubb, the latest on kicker Brandon McManus' protocol status, his evaluation of the young roster this season, and which players he believes deserve Pro Bowl recognition.

The Denver Broncos are now facing a tough road with two games remaining on the 2020 season. After a demoralizing loss at home to the Buffalo Bills, the Broncos will have to figure out their identity heading into the 2021 season. Josh Allen has played like a legitimate MVP candidate this season and he attacked the Broncos depleted secondary as the Bills offense put up over 500 yards of offense. Many people are declaring now that the Broncos shouldn't have passed on Josh Allen in the 2018 NFL Draft, but would Josh Allen be who he is today if the Broncos had selected him? Cody Roark discusses this and much more on today's post-game report episode.

The Denver Broncos will host the Buffalo Bills tomorrow at Empower Field at Mile High. The Broncos will likely have to play the Bills with a new kicker as Brandon McManus may not be cleared by the NFL due to close contact Covid tracing. The Broncos also received an update on whether or not they'll see CB Bryce Callahan return this season with three games remaining and several key players are listed as questionable ahead of the matchup. In the final game preview for #BUFvsDEN, the Broncos match up well with the Bills and have a chance to play spoilers, but they'll have to account for several things on offense and defense in order to come out victorious. Bradley Chubb is just 2.5 sacks away from 10 on the season, but he's not focused on stats, he's focused on something much bigger to conclude the season.

The Denver Broncos started Netane Muti, 6th round draft pick from Fresno State in Sunday's win over the Carolina Panthers. Muti impressed on the film with his ability to pull, get next level, and create big kickout lanes for running backs to hit that helped the Broncos offense get into rhythm. Muti filled in for the injured Graham Glasgow, but after seeing Muti's play, there is a true dilemma about what the Broncos best option is. If Glasgow isn't 100%, do the Broncos sit him the final three games and allow Muti to play and get some valuable experience? Plus, the Broncos have evolved offensively over the course of the last month, and Pat Shurmur is a big part of it. What has Pat Shurmur done to play to the strengths of the Broncos offensive personnel? Cody Roark and Patrick Chiotti discuss this and more on today's episode of the show.

The Denver Broncos became road warriors on Sunday after beating the Carolina Panthers 32-27 behind Drew Lock's career day. The Broncos overcame adversity on gameday after LT Garett Bolles was ruled out before kickoff with an illness, and Noah Fant would leave in the 1st quarter with an illness. The Broncos put together one of their best offensive performances of the year as Lock threw for four touchdowns and protected the football. The Broncos defense would play the Panthers very tough but began to surrender some yardage in the 2nd half. Cody Roark, Patrick Chiotti, and Zach Segars dive into the action and recap the Broncos road victory, who gets the game ball, and what did Drew Lock do in this game to give him ground for 2021?
