The #Broncos fell on Monday Night to the visiting 49ers 24-15. The starters played a couple series as we saw Joe Flacco test downfield and make safe decisions to keep the Broncos offense rolling -- Emmanuel Sanders proved to everybody that he is back as he tested his routes against San Francisco's secondary, carrying the ball for a 19 yard end around and snagging a 40 yard reception that unfortunately got called back due to holding. The Broncos starting defense played 15 snaps and held the 49ers starting offense to 32 total yards and forced a turnover on the second play of the game.
We saw a lot of positive from the Broncos first team unit on O and D -- we also talk about why Garett Bolles will be fine and why Broncos Country should take a deep breath and be patient with him.
Unfortunately after the starters left the game, the Broncos second and third team units struggled to stop the 49ers offense.
Special Teams also looks to be a strong area of concern for the team as they near the regular season.

Today's episode of the show features our lead story of the day where Broncos SS Kareem Jackson returned to practice just in time for the 49ers joint practices. The 49ers join the Broncos today for 2 days of scrimmaging ahead of their matchup this Monday on Monday Night Football.
Jackson was one guy who returned from injury alongside Horace Richardson. Broncos S Will Parks sat out of practice with a hammy injury and Su'a Cravens missed with an illness. This provides Dymonte Thomas and Trey Marshall reps to step up and impress the coaching staff.
The Vic Fangio effect has been major for the Broncos growth as a team, as teammates, and as coaches. The culture in Dove Valley appears to be much stronger than the last two seasons. We analyze how Vic Fangio has made these differences with players like Chris Harris Jr and the team as a whole.

Today's episode of Locked On Broncos is jam packed as always with insight, news, and coverage into all things Orange and Blue.
In our Locked On Broncos lead story of the day -- LB Josey Jewell returned to practice earlier this week, but was a full participant in team drills. This likely indicates we'll see him Monday Night as the 49ers come to town.
We also play with the thought of Troy Fumagalli serving a role as an H-Back in Rich Scangarello's offense as he received some reps there yesterday -- what dynamic can he bring to the Broncos run and pass game?
And finally, we close off our show with our responses to #TwitterTuesday where Broncos Country answered the call and provided us with a lot of things to answer.

In today's episode of the LockedOn Broncos Podcast, head coach Vic Fangio said the Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders will be cleared to play in the preseason. This is certainly a step in the right direction for Sanders recovery from his achilles injury. Drew Lock also seems to progressing quickly for the Broncos as both he and Brett Rypien are moving up the depth chart at quarterback. What does this mean for Kevin Hogan? Lastly, Noah Fant will be reunited with former Iowa Hawkeye George Kittle in joint practices. Fant can learn a thing or two from Kittle.
