The Denver Broncos made a strong splash on Day 2 of the NFL Draft as they snagged Dalton Risner OL from Kansas State who will add some nastiness to the Broncos offensive line to open things up for the run-game. Then the Broncos swapped with the Bengals to have consecutive picks at 41 and 42 where Denver selected Drew Lock - QB from Mizzou to be the backup to Joe Flacco.

The Denver Broncos made Draft Night interesting as they traded down from the 10th pick with the Steelers in exchange for Picks 20 and 52. This primed the Broncos to have 3 picks in the Top 50. With the 20th pick in the Draft, the Broncos selected Noah Fant, TE from Iowa. Fant will add an explosive and versatile threat to the Broncos offense where Joe Flacco will rely on the tight end in the red zone and on key third down situations. Fant adds an element to the DEN O with his athletic ability alone that the team hasn't had in years.

We also dive into some of the biggest surprises of Day 1 of the NFL Draft and analyze the state of the AFC West following Round 1. Listeners of the show also dialed in to the Locked On Broncos voicemail line to discuss their thoughts on DEN's selection
