Lightning GM Julien Brisebois has been busy this week with the NHL offseason in full swing. Earlier this week Ryan McDonagh was dealt to Nashville that relieved Tampa of some cap space. Adam reacts to the trade, as well as discusses what other moves could, and should be made. Adam wraps up the show fresh off the conclusion of the first round of the NHL Draft. Tampa took left winger Isaac Howard with the 31st pick. Howard brings a level of flash and scoring ability that will mesh nicely with some of the already established talents at the NHL level.

It was a disappointing end to an incredible season for the Tamp Bay Lighting as they failed to extend the series in Game 6. Adam's playoff beard will not have a date with the trimmer tonight, as the Lightning hold elimination 3-2 on the road in Game 5. On Wednesday night, things got off to a good start as Tampa struck first on an Anthony Cirelli goal in the 1st period of Game 4. The Avalanche and Lightning would exchange goals in the 2nd period later on. Everything would go downhill from there as a fatigued Bolts squad would give up the game-tying goal, and then eventually fall in overtime to drop Game 4. Adam gives his postgame reaction and explains the shift in momentum during the 2nd period.
