Rueben Bain was one of the most productive and electrifying players in college football, but his evaluation has been complicated due to arm length concerns. Now things are even more uncertain as reports have surfaced that connect Bain to a deadly car accident and it could be enough to see a big-time drop in the first round of the NFL Draft. Teams like the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs could likely pass and after that the Dallas Cowboys are the next best fit, but is Bain a fit for the Cowboys? He very well may not be. The Los Angeles Rams will likely look to the offensive side of the ball as well, leaving Bain in a precarious spot as we head towards the draft next week.

The NFL Draft is 10 days away and as things stand the New York Jets have the chance to shake up the entire draft with their decision at #2. Most expect the Jets to go with an edge rusher, but things can turn quickly if they select Sonny Styles, the linebacker out of Ohio State. What happens next has always been even more uncertain as the Arizona Cardinals continue to be a mystery. Offensive line, defense, a trade down -- everything is still on the table. That type of unknown may be a bad sign for the Cards. The Tennessee Titans sit at four and will certainly look to trade down. The Washington Commanders could be a team looking to jump up, potentially for Jeremiyah Love. The New York Giants are also a team to watch for Love. The Cleveland Browns are expected to take Carnell Tate, but we might want to press pause on putting that in pen right now. Finally, the Washington Commanders could move up, but if not, they need a playmaker somewhere on the offense early on.

The NFL Draft is less than two weeks away and we could see fireworks when things kick off as five teams have multiple first round picks. The Dallas Cowboys are rumored to be interested in a big move up the board for a pass rusher and it could shake up the entire top of the draft. The Kansas City Chiefs also have the ammo to make a move up and could also be targeting a pass rusher to help get them back into contention. The Miami Dolphins have a plethora of draft assets in the next few years, so they may be tempted to make a splash, but with a former Packer exec as the new general manager, it would be more likely for the Dolphins to stand pat or even trade down. The New York Jets could also be a team to watch for a move up from pick 16, but they are another team that needs to continue hoarding assets even if they are stocked already. Finally, the Cleveland Browns have multiple picks, but if they truly hope to get their quarterback of the future next year, they need to find a way to stay conservative and potentially even move back.
