The Carolina Panthers will make the trip west to Seattle for the second year in a row. Last time in the Pacific Northwest, the Panthers claimed an important victory as they were mounting a late-season challenge for the NFC South division title. Now, the Panthers are hoping to avoid an 0-2 start and find some success on offense after two middling days. Julian Council provides his keys to victory for the Panthers vs. Seattle.

Panthers QB Bryce Young missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, calling into doubt whether he'll play on Sunday. If Young doesn't, it'll be Andy Dalton who is in line to get the call under center. Julian looks at Dalton's career against Seattle and evaluates the injury concern with Young.

The 0-2 start for Carolina has many fans wondering if this will be yet another lost season. Julian explains why the early struggles shouldn't be surprising and why it's too soon to throw in the towel on this Panthers team.

Through two weeks of the NFL season, the Carolina Panthers boast a league-worst scoring and passing offense as Frank Reich's offensive unit has failed to produce leading to an 0-2 start. This weekend, the Panthers head to the Pacific Northwest to face off against the 1-1 Seattle Seahawks, fresh off of a win on the road in overtime against the Detroit Lions.

Panthers QB Bryce Young missed practice on Wednesday due to an ankle injury. Will Young be ready to go come Sunday? Will this finally be the week the Panthers offense shows signs of life?

Julian Council and Locked On Seahawks host Corbin Smith preview the top storylines, key matchups, and keys to victory in this Week 3 matchup between NFC opponents.

Through two weeks, the Carolina Panthers new-look offense has been anemic. Rookie QB Bryce Young has failed to establish a rhythm with his WRs and a running game that we effective in Week 1 was abandoned in the Week 2 loss against New Orleans. Thanks to these struggles, after only two weeks Panthers fans are calling for Panthers head coach Frank Reich to give up the playcalling duties and hand them over to offensive coordinator Thomas Brown.

Following the game on Monday night, Reich responded to a question about whether he's contemplated giving up his responsibilities. Reich said that he felt that it was in the best interest of the team for him to remain in the primary playcalling role. Despite Reich feeling this way, is that the best thing for the Panthers moving forward?

The Panthers are likely to be without LB Shaq Thompson for the remainder of the season after he suffered a fractured fibula on Monday night. Now that two key starters on defense, Thompson and Jaycee Horn are out, can the Panthers unit still be a top defense in the NFL?

Julian Council answers these questions among other listener questions in this week's edition of the Weekly Wednesday Mailbag on Locked on Panthers.

The Carolina Panthers offense continued to go through growing pains under new head coach Frank Reich and with rookie QB Bryce Young under the center. The Panthers followed up an uninspiring offensive effort in Atlanta with a repeat performance they fell, 20-17, to the New Orleans Saints. Julian Council provides his thoughts on the state of the Panthers offense through two games.

Heading into the 2023 season, the Panthers only returned 39% of the offensive production from a year ago, which ranks last in the NFL. Not only that but the Panthers are starting the rookie Young at QB and have a new offensive scheme. Julian explains why he believes fans need to be more patient with the offense as they work through early struggles.

The Panthers suffered yet another crushing injury on Monday night as LB Shaq Thompson was carted off the field with a right ankle injury. Following the game, Reich stated that Thompson's injury was "significant" and reports from the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport suggest that Thompson could be done for the season. Julian looks at how the Panthers move forward without Thompson.

The injury bug has reared its ugly head as the Carolina Panthers are dealing with several significant injuries. CB Jaycee Horn is expected to miss "an extended period of time" after suffering what Panthers head coach Frank Reich called "a serious hamstring injury."

Horn isn't the only Panthers started who will be shelved for the foreseeable future. Starting LG Brady Christensen was placed on IR on Wednesday because of a bicep injury that will end his season. With Monday Night Football against the division rival New Orleans Saints approaching, how will the Panthers overcome these injuries?

Julian Council and Josh Klein of the Riot Report discuss the Panthers injury woes, Monday Night Football home opener, and much more.

The state of the Carolina Panthers wide receiver core was a topic of discussion entering the 2023 NFL season. The Panthers opted to trade away top receiver DJ Moore to the Chicago Bears in order to obtain the No. 1 overall pick, which led them to Bryce Young. In an attempt to rebuild the wide receiver room, Carolina added veterans Adam Thielen, DJ Chark, and Damiere Byrd and drafted rookie Jonathan Mingo.

Unfortunately, to this point, it's been a snakebitten group as Byrd was placed on IR during camp and is no longer with the team, Byrd missed the opener in Atlanta, and Thielen along with a few others have dealt with injuries. Even more concerning was the Panthers wide receivers catching eight passes on 15 targets for a lowly 63 yards. How concerned should the organization be about its wide receiver room heading into Week 2?

Julian Council answers this question among other listener questions in this week's edition of the Weekly Wednesday Mailbag on Locked On Panthers.
