The Los Angeles Rams hired defensive coordinator Brandon Staley to replace Wade Phillips over the offseason, will have safety John Johnson returning from a season-ending injury, and added more offensive talent in the form of rookie wide receiver Van Jefferson. Staley has a history of success and has received tutelage under some of the most dominant defensive minds in football. Johnson was a budding star prior to his season ending prematurely -- he returns as a motivated player ready for his contract season. Lastly, Jefferson joins a star-studded group at wide receiver and will look to leave his mark immediately.

The Los Angeles Rams have two of the more dominant defensive players on their roster, a jumbled yet intriguing running back situation, and could produce two TE1 seasons out of Tyler Higbee and Gerald Everett. Looking at the Rams' defense, do they have enough players and talent outside of Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey to thrive? The running back situation will be fun to evaluate, particularly the roles in which Cam Akers, Darrell Henderson, and Malcolm Brown operate in. Lastly, the fantasy football debate between Tyler Higbee and Gerald Everett is a fun and confusing situation, and could ultimately end with both players co-existing or the Rams electing to only keep one moving forward.

Terrell Lewis was activated from the COVID-IR list, A'Shawn Robinson recently placed on the NFI list, and the Los Angeles Rams' debut on HBO's Hard Knocks. Terrell Lewis' activation and recovery is a big talking point as he's likely to factor in immediately as a rookie edge rusher. The discovery of a health-related issue for A'Shawn Robinson will keep him out for an unspecified period of time, per Head Coach Sean McVay. Lastly, new host Sosa Kremenjas and former host Bear Mader discuss their favorite snippets from Hard Knocks episode one.
