Both Andrew Peters and Elliotte Friedman took to their mics Friday to drop rumors and speculation on Casey Mittelstadt being traded out of Buffalo, including Peters saying Mittelstadt is being "shopped". Sneaky Joe declares that he believes a Mittelstadt trade is now inevitable at some point.

Plus, are the Sabres in the goalie market??? John Gibson? And Scott Laughton's name has been connected to Buffalo.

With a month to go until the trade deadline, Sneaky Joe explores a new idea to try and acquire a top-four defenseman or a proven goal scorer. What about selling high and trading Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen?

Joe looks over UPL's contract situation, as he'll be an RFA at the end of the year, what type of value he should have in the league, and how he fits into the future with Devon Levi after this season.

Also, does Elliotte Friedman know something about the Sabres buying at the deadline?

Another frustrating loss to the Dallas Stars, in which the Sabres outshot Dallas 48-30, has Sneaky Joe ranting about the state of the Sabres franchise as they head for a 13th straight season without making the playoffs. Joe has stats on how little Kevyn Adams have contributed to this team in the last four years, and compares their build to the Red Wings, who have flown pass them in the Atlantic Division. Also, why the atmosphere in the arena is just so sad.

Plus, Dylan Cozens had maybe his best game of the year on Tuesday night.

Mattias Samuelsson has a major injury, again, and is out for the remainder of the 2023-24 season. With another injury added to his list, is Samuelsson's lack of health making his contract one of the worst on the team? How bad contract do the Sabres have long-term with Samuelsson if he can't stay on the ice?

Plus, where Samuelsson regressed this season, and what his role should be going forward.

After over a decade, the NHL will FINALLY send their best players back to the Olympics! Best on best international hockey is back! Sneaky Joe makes the case that Team USA has caught Canada in pure skill and talent, and especially has an edge at goaltender.

Is reuniting Jack Eichel and Tage Thompson on the same line palatable for Sabres fans? Is Tage even going to make Team USA? Plus, all the other Sabres like JJ Peterka, Rasmus Dahlin, and more that project to make their nation's roster.

Another high draft pick has been made available in the Eastern Conference, this time it's 2019 2nd overall pick Kaapo Kakko of the New York Rangers. Unlike David Jiriceck, Sneaky Joe has a tough time finding a hypothetical trade that sends Kakko to Buffalo. However, Joe breaks down why Kakko is a better player than his stats, and why he would be a nice addition, if they could make a deal work.

Plus, could we see an announcement from the NHL this weekend on a World Cup AND players going to the Olympics?

Blue Jackets top defensive prospect David Jiricek, the 6th overall pick in 2022, is unhappy with his situation in Columbus and could be available for trade! Sneaky Joe loves this idea for the Sabres on the right side of their blueline and believes a prospect swap involving Matthew Savoie, Jiri Kulich, Isak Rosen, or Noah Ostlund makes too much sense.

What is Jiricek like as a player? Would he play right away? Why did the Blue Jackets let it get to this point?

Plus, whether JJ Peterka could get an extension before Casey Mittelstadt does.

Heading into the All-Star break, Sabres head coach Don Granato is the betting favorite to be the next coach fired in the NHL. If they do it, who should and who would replace Granato? The big name is Rod Brind Amour, who's expected to be available this offseason. Could Kevyn Adams really sway his old teammate to come to Buffalo? Is Gerard Gallant too much of a drill sergeant for a young Sabres team?

And Sneaky Joe makes the case for a reunion with Lindy Ruff, if he's fired by the Devils.

The Sabres won the game on Saturday in San Jose, but lost Jack Quinn to a scary looking injury that is expected to be long-term. Sneaky Joe breaks down why Quinn's injury would be close to devastating for the Sabres top-six. How will Dylan Cozens play without Quinn?

Plus, JJ Peterka shines again versus the Sharks, Kyle Okposo drops the gloves, and a trade rumor about Erik Johnson?
