After the New Orleans Saints made the tough, but expected, cuts of Kwon Alexander and Emmanuel Sanders, their cap situation drastically improved as they also learned the NFL Salary Cap would be $182.5M in 2021. How much money the Saints freed up, and why Kwon's story in the Big Easy might not be done.

New Orleans also restructured the contracts of Andrus Peat and Malcolm Jenkins opening up another nearly $10M. How the restructures helped, but felt more like a need than a want. New Orleans was also awarded three compensatory picks, which picks they were granted, and where they select throughout the draft for now.

Ranking the top three salary cap moves left for New Orleans. The list tops off with a move that not only frees up cap space, but builds toward a bright future. Mickey Loomis and Khai Harley continue to work their magic as the New Orleans Saints bulldoze their expected salary cap woes.

The New Orleans Saints know how to work the salary cap and put it on full display Tuesday by franchise tagging star safety Marcus Williams. Can a long-term contract get done before the 17th and the opening of Free Agency? The Saints certainly hope so. But even if they can't, it's not an unmanageable situation at all. What to expect in the coming days.

The Saints offensive line had some bright spots and disappointments not living up to their gold standard in 2020. What worked and what didn't in our Year in Review.

Looking ahead to 2021, the Saints will need to find a way to keep Ryan Ramczyk via extension, their answer at center and whether it's Cesar Ruiz or Erik McCoy, and fill out the depth before their five starters including Terron Armstead and Andrus Peat.

With reports circulating that the New Orleans Saints have entertained trade possibilities for Latavius Murray. Emmanuel Sanders, Malcom Brown, and Kwon Alexander, how much could they get in return outside of relieving salary cap concerns?

How extending Marshon Lattimore and Ryan Ramczyk can also alleviate some salary cap spending ahead of free agency and why one might take priority over the other.

Listener questions from Twitter for Twitter Tuesday! If the Saints trade away or move on from Kwon Alexander, Emmanuel Sanders, or Latavius Murray, where do they go next at three key positions? Why Ross wants a Rickey Jackson jersey to hang up, and how Dak Prescott's new contract affects the Saints in their salary cap woes and even the most unwarranted Russell Wilson hopes.

Mock Draft Monday starts off the day as the New Orleans Saints find themselves with a familiar selection to help sure up their defense in case of a major loss at safety. Trevon Moehrig shows up just in time to face off with Ohio State QB Justin Fields for years to come here in the NFC South.

On Saturday, the Saints re-signed WR/RB hybrid Ty Montgomery to a one-year deal. How the deal factors into the salary cap, why Montgomery deserved to be brought back, and what it could mean for Latavius Murray after free agency rounds the corner and the Saints have to get under the cap.

To help them achieve that with the fewest cuts possible, New Orleans restructured the contracts of Cameron Jordan and Demario Davis. How much they saved, how they did it, what the moves mean for the Saints, as well as Cam and Demario's futures in the black and gold.

A head of the new league year, the New Orleans Saints made some important moves to retain talent and free up cap space ahead of free agency.

Tight ends Jared Cook and Josh Hill are on their way out after being released by the Saints. We discuss the salary cap implications and what happens next at the position.

A very important piece re-signed as well with safety and special teams ace J.T. Gray. Breaking down what we know so far of his new deal as well as the restructured contract of David Onyemata. How much the Saints saved, what moves to wait for next, and how these moves help New Orleans now and in the future.

Then, some fun as we dive into the Saints Top Three Run Plays* from the 2020 season. Not every big play is a touchdown, sometimes backups shine, and other times, you gotta break the rules a little bit when a guy scores six touchdowns in a single game.

*Ross breaks the rules.

The New Orleans Saints have re-signed Noah Spence and might be looking to trade Malcom Brown. How they can continue to address the defensive line and what kind of trade compensation they could get for the six-year defensive tackle.

Looking back at 2020 and reviewing the performances with Jared Cook, Adam Trautman, Josh Hill, and Garrett Griffin. Cook's sneaky decent year foiled by inconsistency and national eyes on big, unfortunate moments.

Addressing the tight end position ahead of 2021 comes with big questions for the Saints. Will Jared Cook be a cap casualty? Can Adam Trautman continue to develop? Get younger or add another veteran mentor? Why Jonnu Smith would be a dream come true, whie Kyle Rudolph would be more sensible and draft prospects to remember.

ESPN's Albert Breer reporting that the New Orleans Saints will prioritize free agent safety Marcus Williams in Free Agency. Why the safety is so important to the Saints defense and Dennis Allen, what it means for other defenders like Trey Hendrickson and Sheldon Rankins who are also on expiring deals and who between them and quarterback Jameis Winston get the next priority.

What happens if Drew Brees decides to return? What would happen with the salary cap, the team's direction, and more? We discuss the potential but also why it's so highly unlikely a return can happen from the salary, team, and even Drew Brees's perspective.

Your questions from Twitter include a trade proposal that sends a young, star offensive lineman to Seattle for quarterback Russell Wilson. What Russ's number would be if Wil Lutz wouldn't give up #3, and a realistic statline for Jameis Winston if he is indeed the starter for next season.
