The Vikings won another game the exact same way they've won games all season. They played sloppy, got outgained significantly, but made key plays at key moments and pulled out the win. But we can look at what worked, like T.J. Hockenson's record-setting day and Justin Jefferson's somehow normal-feeling 133 yard effort. Since the Philadelphia Eagles lost, the Vikings are still in like for the #1 seed.

When the Vikings came back from a 33 point deficit against the Indianapolis Colts, for some reason, the quarterback didn't get a lot of credit. That reason is mostly rooted in the way we aggregate data to try and come to an objective answer about quarterback play, rather than appreciating the subtleties that make things easy on offense.

Plus, Ed Donatell's defense ran more man to man coverage and it produced an excellent result. The Vikings should keep that up. Plus, updates on Christian Darrisaw, Duke Shelley, and Garrett Bradbury.

It's hard to imagine a game starting worse than that. But the Vikings didn't quit, rattled off a 36-3 run in the second half and handed the Colts the worst blown lead in NFL history. The problem the Vikings have experienced in coverage is one of not enough multiplicity. Against the Detroit Lions, the Vikings had that multiplicity - but they couldn't execute. I think they have a chance to figure that out, so long as they don't panic.
