Mike Zimmer is on the verge of a 3-year extension to remain the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings through 2022. He's the 3rd-winningest head coach in franchise history and can now chase a Super Bowl in 2020 without the spectre of a contract year hanging over the team. The Vikings have also signed a handful of rookies, which is business as usual. The rest should be signed soon.
