The Minnesota Wild picked up a 5-0 win over the Islanders to move Marc-Andre Fleury into 2nd place all time in goalie wins with his 552nd which was a shutout. The Wild, who were 1-7-1 in their last 9 games, welcomed Jonas Brodin back to the lineup and played much better defensively throughout the night. Mats Zuccarello got the scoring started with a Power Play goal in the opening frame. Connor Dewar and Joel Eriksson Ek scored in the second to increase the lead to 3-0. Eriksson Ek scored his second goal of the night, and Marcus Foligno also scored in the third to cap the scoring. Fleury stopped all 21 shots he faced to pick up the shutout win. The Wild head to Florida for a 3 game road trip as they take on the Panthers on Thursday for their next game.
