The Minnesota Wild had their 3 game losing streak snapped as they fell short 4-3 in Pittsburgh. The Wild fell behind 3-0 midway through the second period, but stormed back with goals from Ryan Hartman, his eighth of the season and Jake Middleton, his fifth goal of the season to make it 3-2 after 2 periods. Vinni Lettieri scored his 3rd goal of the season to tie the score at 3 but Sidney Crosby scored his 18th goal of the season on the Power Play seconds later to give the Penguins the lead and the Wild weren't able to muster the tying goal in the closing seconds. The Wild were called for 5 penalties, and the Penguins scored two Power Play goals in the win. Filip Gustavsson stopped 26 of 30 shots in the loss. The Wild play Boston tomorrow night for their next game!
