The Minnesota Wild lost or the 6th time in their last 7 games as they were routed 7-2 by the Dallas Stars in Dallas in Jesper Wallstedt's NHL Debut. The Stars scored the first goal of the game in the first period on an unassisted goal by Joe Pavelski, and added two more in the second to lead 3-0. The Wild made it 3-1 in the 3rd on Matt Boldy's 14th goal of the season, but the Stars scored 2 straight to make it 5-1. Ryan Hartman scored his 12th of the season to make it 5-2, but the Stars added two more to cap the scoring. Jesper Wallstedt stopped 27 of 34 shots in his NHL debut, but was not given any help in front of him throughout the night. The Wild host Philadelphia on Friday for their next game.
