The Minnesota Wild fell 7-3 to the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday at Xcel Energy Center. The Wild fell to 2-2 with the loss. The Kings scored on the first shot of the game to take a 1-0 lead, but the Wild answered back with goals from Connor Dewar and Kirill Kaprizov to take a 2-1 lead. The Kings scored 3 goals in the final 5 minutes of the first, including two in the final minute to take a 4-2 lead. The Kings scored again to start the third, but Joel Eriksson Ek scored his 4th goal of the season to cut it to 5-3, but the Kings scored two empty net goals to finish the scoring and pick up the win. The Wild host Columbus on Saturday for their next game.
