The Minnesota Wild won for the 7th time in 9 games and 4th straight game overall as the Wild beat Arizona 3-1 in Arizona on Wednesday night. The Wild scored the first goal of the game on the Power Play to make it 1-0 as Joel Eriksson Ek scored his 24th goal of the season. The Coyotes thought they had tied the score at 1-1, but the Wild challenged for goaltender interference and the goal was overturned. Jonas Brodin made it 2-0 Wild on his 3rd goal of the season. The Coyotes made it 2-1 as Logan Cooley scored in the third, but Matt Boldy scored his 19th goal of the season to make it 3-1 and Marc-Andre Fleury did the rest. Fleury stopped 25 of 26 shots en route to the win. The Wild pulled to within 3 points of the Blues for the final playoff spot. The Wild host Buffalo on Saturday for their next game.
