On today's episode of Locked on Wild, we preview tonight's game against Dallas which features Jesper Wallstedt's first career NHL start. We discuss Wallstedt's personality and skillset which should help him be able to handle playing behind a depleted Wild roster, something he did quite often down in Iowa too. We look at how it will be key to see how Wallstedt responds to the ebbs and flows of NHL game action, especially against a Dallas team that has had Minnesota's number recently. We look at the Wild organization and how long out various Defenseman prospects are from joining the NHL roster with opportunities opening up as soon as next season. We finish by discussing tonight's game against Dallas, and the need for everyone on the Wild roster to step up and give a bit more to help Wallstedt win his first career game.
