Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt went opposite directions this season for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Beasley struggled in a move to the bench on a deeper Wolves roster but still demonstrated dynamic volume 3-point-shooting ability. Will he be on the team in 2022-23? Vanderbilt, for his part, proved his value as a versatile defender and tough, hard-nosed contributor. Is he a long-term solution as the starting power forward? Ben Beecken (@bbeecken) breaks down each player's campaign in the context of expectations while looking ahead to next season.

Naz Reid and Patrick Beverley played very different roles for the Minnesota Timberwolves this season, but they both had fantastic years. Beverley ended up being a regular starter and was the heartbeat of the team, having one of the best all-around seasons of his career despite his worst-ever 3-point shooting season. Reid, on the other hand, showed clear improvement defensively and was one of the more consistent backup centers in the league. Ben Beecken (@bbeecken) breaks down each player's individual performance relative to expectations and what to expect next season.
