Luna stands in a basement of cribs filled with thread, a woman with no mouth emerging from a melting birthday cake. She cuts a thread and follows it to a locker marked with her original birthday, where a mirror shows her reflection wearing the girl in yellow's dress. The woman's hand closes around her wrist, the candle goes out, and Luna must decide which memory to enter. She chooses the mirror, stepping through into a nursery where a mobile of sewing needles hangs over a crib. The mirror child speaks in her mother's voice, offering scissors to cut the thread of memory. Luna refuses, and the child stiches her into a cradle of thread, forcing her to relive the moment she was made. Luna fights back, tearing the thread, and escapes into a field of yellow flowers where the girl in yellow waits with a lock of hair. The girl reveals that Luna was never born—she was stitched together from forgotten memories. Luna must now choose: cut the hair and disappear, or weave it into a door and find her true name.
