So much happened in this episode, but we were bummed by Sasha's death being predictable and wholely underwhelming, the fake Michonne death, and Negan's empty threats toward Rick and Carl (not that we want them to do, because we don't!). Nonetheless, we won the battle. Yes, we have a war still yet to fight, but we have some solid allies (no thanks to the dirty Heapsters...) and that means we have a solid chance.

This week we're discussing the latest episode of The Walking Dead that aired Sunday, March 26, 2017. 

 

We catch up with Sasha and find out that Negan wants to turn her into a Savior! WHAT!! This man has no shame!! She doesn't seem interested, thank goodness. We can't handle another group member of ours defecting like Eugene did. We also find out that Tara told Rick about the Oceanside community who is amazingly very supportive of our cause. Grandma needs to get with the times and fight, or step down and let Cyndie lead the Oceanside because this girl is ready to fight! We also find out what's going on with Maggie at the Hilltop who is being plotted against by Gregory, who as it turns out can't even kill one walker on his own! What kind of leader is this guy anyway?! What a joke!! Last, but definitely not least, Rosita makes it back to Alexandria, but not alone. She brought Dwight with her and now he's saying he wants to help, but we don't trust him. I mean, and how could we after what he did to Daryl??

Sasha and Rosita have just opened up the BIGGEST can of worms we've seen since we first attacked the Saviors' outpost last season. Sasha may well be dead and Rosita is pissed. Eugene wouldn't even go back to Alexandria with Rosita and Sasha, but the worst part is that we can't blame him! And to top it off, Rosita may have just walked into an enemy. There are two episodes left of this season and things are NOT looking good!

So we're happy and all that Richonne finally got to get their rox on after all this time, but we feel like this is MAAAAAJOR foreshadowing. This episode got REAL when Michonne was this vulnerable for the first time EVER and when Rick said that they could lose each other. Shit got way real... Rosita & Sasha have now taken it upon themselves to take out Negan - we thought Sasha was setting this up for Maggie?? And Tara's knowledge of the Oceanside community could be a game-changer for our group in the war against the Saviors. The clock is ticking...what will happen next week?

This episode was pretty slow in pace, but full in content about two characters that could not be more different: Dwight and Eugene. Gabriel has inadvertently helped enlist their help (was he running away, or did he really get caught?) and Rick managed to strike a deal with them that can help lead our group to victory against the Saviors. Daryl and Carol were finally reunited and it felt so bittersweet. Is the show saying goodbye to Carol?! Will Morgan change his mind and tell Carol what really happened? Will Richard start an all-out war and get Carol caught in the crossfires?
