What the HELL is going on with Father Gabriel?! Did he really just leave our group high and dry like he did his church congregation? Or does he have something to do with Funky Boots? And who is Funky Boots anyway?! Rick & Co are ready to fight and thanks to Enid, they have a solid group of supporters ready to fight. Morgan finds out about what happened to Glenn & Abraham, and everyone else and still thinks we should be peaceful. The epic zombie horde has us worried the Saviors will have seen us and will know we're preparing for an attack AND WHO ARE THESE NEW PEOPLE?! AHHHH!

We recap Maggie & Sasha's recovery from Glenn & Abraham's deaths, how Daryl managed to escape the Savior's compound and how he's changed, Carol & Morgan and their hunt for peace-loving solitude, Carl's shenanigans back at the Savior's compound, Rosita with her outbursts that got Olivia killed and Eugene taken away, and finally we cover Rick & Michonne and how they've drifted apart and finally come back together in uniting against the Saviors.

This week we're covering episode 7 of The Walking Dead that aired Sun., Dec. 5, 2016. 

 

We couldn't be more upset with the group right now. Carl, Michonne and Rosita all seem to be going Rogue and hatching a plan to kill Negan. Not to mention Sasha up at the Hilltop and Spencer with his own plans to take down Rick (HA! I'd like to see him try!). The group is beyond fractured at this point and if it's not careful, will find itself in a world of hurt real soon. Daryl is being presented with an opportunity to bust out, but will he make it out of the Savior's compound alive?! And who was the kind soul that tried to help him? Will this run with Rick and Aaron result in a worthwhile stockpile of supplies, or will one of them get hurt in the process?

This week we cover episodes 5 & 6 of The Walking Dead that aired November 20th & 27th respectively. 

 

We caught up with Maggie & Sasha back at the Hilltop, finally, and baby Rhee is safe!! Thank goodness. Neither Maggie nor Sasha is slowing down at this point. They are full-speed ahead and we are loving it, but we definitely are worried about the wee babe. Will Maggie overdo it? Is she pushing herself too hard? Sasha seems to have found her mission, not unlike Abraham, but will she be able to process her grief properly? Or will her focus on the mission hurt her further? Thankfully Maggie is basically kicking Gregory's ass and is poised to become the new leader of the Hilltop, but what happens when Negan finds out?? And WHAT is Carl thinking?! 

As for Ep 6, we never thought we'd be so happy to see Tara! Kicking both walker and people ass seems to be her forté. We are stoked at her new pair of sunnies and her can-do attitude. Will she be able to find Heath now that they've been separated? Is Heath alright, or did he get injured in the walker shuffle on the bridge? He did lose his glasses which might suggest close-combat...

In this episode we discuss episode 4 of season 7 that aired November 13, 2016. 

 

We finally got to see how our group is faring now that they are back in Alexandria. Just 3 days into their recovery back at home, Negan & the Saviors show up and take just about everything except for the light fixtures. Carl has an outburst while watching the Saviors take everything Rick & Co + Alexandria have worked so hard to get which almost ends badly. Thankfully the benevolent Negan spares Carl (barf!) and offers Daryl the opportunity to go back to Alexandria if he just ask, but Daryl knows better and is now back in prison at the Saviors HQ. Things are not getting better for our people! What will happen with Maggie, Sasha & the Hilltop in next week's episode? Will we get to check in with Tara, Heath & Jesus? How is Carol healing up? Will she ever come back to us? How long will Morgan stay with the Kingdom?

Gaahhh! They brought us back down this week! We'll be talking about episode 3 that aired Sun, Nov. 6, 2016 which was rough. 

We've caught up with our beloved Daryl and got more information about the Saviors and how they operate. These people are no joke. We've also gotten the backstory (or at least some of it) on Dwight & Sherry and are seeing a dark side of them. Will Dwight ever be able to forgive himself for what happened to Sherry and her sister? Has he been lost to the dark side? Why is Sherry trying to help Daryl? Has she been pregnant with Negan's child before? Where are the other women?? (Katie thinks it's a baby farm.)

This week we are SO excited to talk about the second episode of season 7 of The Walking Dead after last week's episode of heartbreak. We are discussing the episode that aired Sun, Oct. 30, 2016. 

We've finally met the Kingdom and its ruler, King Ezekiel!! We are stoked that this day is finally here. Ezekiel (and Shiva) is larger than life and already seems to be breaking down Carol's walls in this episode. Will Ezekiel and Carol find more than friendship together? How will she react when she discovers Glenn & Abraham are dead? How will Morgan react? Will Ezekiel and the Kingdom fighters band together with our group to fight the Saviors?

What is there to say? We said goodbye to two beloved characters last night on the season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead and we are still feeling the effects of our losses. Heal yourself through the power of connection and discussion as we try to process what we've witnessed.

Glenn & Maggie are no more. At least not physically. Abraham - a true soldier to the end. Both are tremendous losses for our people - how can we rebuild? How can we move forward with the looming threat of Negan? And with Daryl's life on the line? What is next for Maggie? Sasha? This premiere episode was a marked shift for our treasured show and healing will take time, but we are in it for the long haul.

Alicia took life as well, and seems to be cool with it for the most part. Maddie has arisen as the new dark horse of the show, while Strand leaves the group behind and stays at the hotel. How will the new Clark family fair in this world? Are they really still looking for Nick?? Nick and his disciples go North just before the cartel gang shows up to La Colonia. Will Nick, Luciana & their people survive? Who nabbed Ofelia? Was it the same group of border banditos that got her as got Nick & Co?
